AWARD-WINNING writer, broadcaster and naturalist Sir David Attenborough spoke to presenter Kirsty Young as he approached his 90th birthday.
The result is Attenborough at 90: Behind The Lens, filmed in front of a live audience.
With special guests joining them on stage, the duo discuss the many pivotal moments of Attenborough's life, from collecting fossils in the Lake District during his childhood through to his pioneering work on natural history programs that have inspired, entertained and educated people around the world.
The fascinating stories are illustrated with footage from the BBC's extensive natural history archive, highlighting some of the most unforgettable moments of Attenborough's career. The film also uncovers the story behind each moment and what happened after the cameras stopped rolling.
