Terms and Conditions
• The Promoter is Capiteq Propriety Limited, trading as Airnorth of 4 Lancaster Road,
Marrara NT 0810 [ABN 24 008 137 559].
Who can Enter:
• The competition is only open to all 4CA listeners aged 18 years or older.
• Employees of Airnorth, 4CA, The Quality Platinum International and their immediate
families are ineligible to enter.
How to Enter:
• Instructions on how to enter, prize details and other information contained within the
promotional advertisements form part of these terms and conditions. By participating,
in this promotion entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
• The competition commences on Monday 05 September 2016 and concludes at 12pm
Friday 09 September 2016, Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).
• For a valid entry, entrants must listen to the 4CA morning breakfast show. Murray
Jones will ask a question about Airnorth’s new Cairns – Toowoomba route and the
destination. Each day 1 lucky listener will go into the draw to win the prize.
Prize Draws:
• The prize draws will take place on Friday 09 September 2016 at 4CA’s office.
• The winner will be contacted by phone (if provided) or by email on the same day.
• 4CA and Airnorth will make every attempt to contact the winner, if however a winner
is not contactable on the phone number or email provided in their submitted entry by
5:00pm ACST Monday 12 September 2016, the winner will forfeit their prize.
• The winner (first initial, surname and state) will be announced on Airnorth’s website
no later than 14 September 2016.
Prize:
• There is one (1) prize to be given away at the end of the promotion.
• The Carnival of Flowers Holiday includes: two (2) adult return flights from
Cairns to Toowoomba. 4 nights’ accommodation in a Deluxe Room including
breakfast at The Quality Platinum International Hotel in Toowoomba. Return
transfers from Brisbane West Wellcamp Airport to the hotel. 2 tickets to the
Geham Craft and Garden Show.
• The total maximum prize value is up to AUD$3,796.00
• The prize package must be booked and used for 16 September to 20 September 2016.
Booking is essential.
• If the winner is unable to travel within the specified dates, the prize will be forfeited;
dates and vouchers cannot be extended.
• Prizes are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Travel insurance is not included. Any additional costs incurred will be at the expense
of the winner including but not limited to additional accommodation and meals. It is
the winner’s responsibility to make their own way to Cairns Airport International
• Any flight/s required by the winner to/from airports that are not serviced by Airnorth’s
E170 Jet fleet are the responsibility of the winner, including booking and all
associated costs.
• The winner and their guest(s) must travel together on the same flight. The prize flights
cannot be split into separate bookings. All costs associated with changes to flight and
accommodation details once booked are the responsibility of the winner.
• The Toowoomba accommodation component of this prize is provided by The Quality
platinum International Hotel and is for four nights in a Deluxe Room at The Quality
platinum International Hotel. Prize includes the following conditions:
• Prize is not valid with any other offer and may not be exchanged for cash.
• Prize must be used in one transaction
• The original voucher must be presented at the time of use. The Quality
Platinum International Hotel is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged
vouchers.
• Redemption of prize voucher is subject to the voucher being redeemed from
16 to 20 September, with no change or cancellation allowed.
• The expiry date may not be extended under any circumstances.
• Prize flights are provided by Airnorth and the prize airfare rules and terms and
conditions as follows:
• Travel must be completed by the expiry date, no travel date extension will be
provided
• The winner will have the travel booked directly by Airnorth and will have an
itinerary forwarded to a supplied email address.
• The travel voucher is not transferable, non-exchangeable and non-redeemable
for cash.
• The voucher can be used for new bookings only and not for a refund of an
existing paid booking.
• The voucher cannot be split into separate bookings.
• The airfares are non-changeable and must be taken on the days as outlined.
• A “no show” will constitute a voluntary forfeit of the prize airfare.
• Once booked, any prize airfare changes made by the winner will incur the
following applicable change fees:
• Once booked any date changes will incur a $66 date change fee
• Name changes are not permitted.
• Changes inside of 48 hours of travel are not permitted.
• Prize flights offered are subject to any applicable schedule or route changes.
• Unaccompanied children are not eligible to be booked on this voucher.
• No discount or re-compensation of the value of the airfare will be provided the
winner’s travel companion is a child booked on this voucher or if value of
airfare booked is the less than the maximum value of the total prize pool of the
eligible routes included.

• The entrant consents to the use by Airnorth, 4CA and The Quality platinum
International Hotel of the entrants’ details and acknowledges that Airnorth, may, at its
discretion disclose and use those details for the purpose of providing them with goods
or services, communicating with entrants, planning, research, product and business
development and sales, the promotion and marketing (whether target, direct or
indirect) of their businesses, services or products or those of a third party which it
believes may be of benefit to them. The details will also be used to investigate
complaints, as required or permitted by any law, to enable Airnorth, 4CA and The
Quality Platinum International Hotel to perform their obligations under this or any
other agreement and to ensure that an entrant performs their obligations under this or
any other agreement.
• If an entrant does not want their details to be used for the purposes stated in clause 21.
please write to Airnorth Marketing (attention Marketing & Communications
Manager), PO Box 39548 Winnellie NT 0821, or contact the Marketing &
Communications Manager on +61 8 8920 4061 within seven (7) days of notification
of their prize win and Airnorth will ensure that the details are not used for that
purpose.

• To access personal information kept by Airnorth please contact Airnorth Marketing on
08 8920 4061. Please note that information will only be provided to the person
detailed and current photographic identification may be required prior to the release of
any personal information.
• If Airnorth reasonably suspects that any entrant is not eligible, has breached these
terms and conditions or has acted improperly to increase their chances of winning,
Airnorth reserves the right to refuse to award prizes and to conduct a re-draw in
accordance with the procedure set out in these terms and conditions.
• Airnorth’s decision on all matters related to this competition is final and cannot be
contested. No correspondence will be entered into. Airnorth reserves the right to limit
entry or amend rules if considered necessary without notice.
• Airnorth is not responsible for any data or other information related to this program
that may be lost, damaged as a result of any computer software or hardware
malfunction. Any issues occurring as a result of computer problems will be rectified
as quickly as possible.
• All entrants release from, and indemnify Airnorth against, all liability, cost, loss or
expense arising out of acceptance of any prize(s) or participation in the competition
including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal injury and damage to property
and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or
omission or otherwise.
• Airnorth accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, accident, death or injury
resulting from the promotion.
• Airnorth reserves the right to disqualify any individual who the promoter believes has
breached any of these terms and conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other
improper misconduct. Airnorth has legal rights to recover damages or other
compensation from such an offender.
• Airnorth accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the
prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought by the winners.
• It is a condition of entry that all prize winners agree to have their name and suburb or
State of residence published for publicity purposes if required. By participating in this
competition, participants signify their acceptance of all conditions and the
requirement to participate in promotional activity if required.
• Airnorth may, subject to State or Territory Regulations, terminate this competition at
any time at its absolute discretion without liability to any contestant or other person.
Airnorth reserves the right to limit Entry or amend rules if considered necessary
