Do your usual dinner dates lack a little mystery, or need spicing up with a hint of the exotic? Well scour the internet for feasting ideas no longer, because Secret Foodies are back in Brisbane with a new event on September 29 – this one involving the sights, aromas and sounds of the Middle East!
With a dress code that states ‘comfortable with a flair of Arabian chic’ you know what you’re really going to be doing is overeating and wearing kaftans (or REALLY stretchy harem pants). While the location of Secret Foodies events is a well-kept secret until it’s texted to you two hours before the event, you can be sure of plenty of food!
At this event, you’ll be cooking up delicious Middle Eastern cuisine with a glass of wine or beer in your hand and your good friends – and those who are soon to be good friends – by your side. The evening kicks off with drinks and canapes on arrival to ready you for the intimate cooking class where you will learn to cook traditional Arabian food in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. It’s all followed by a communal feast of your creation with two glasses of wine or beer, and finally a desert all the way from the Arabian desert.
Get ready to roll up your sleeves, let out your waistline, and have a little fun at 6:30pm on Thursday 29 September in a secret CBD, urban-industrial chic location. You can buy tickets for $145pp and find out more information here, but why not take a chance and enter our giveaway?
