Entrants must be 18 years of age or over.
The Promoter may require entrants to provide proof of age in a form acceptable to the Promoter. Should an entrant be unable to satisfy this requirement, the entrant will be ineligible for the prize.
Entrants must provide a nominated valid Australian bank as requested by the Promoter, in the event that the entrant is a winner.
An entrant who has won prizes to the value of $10,000 or more, in any promotion(s) run by the Promoter in the previous six (6) months prior to their Entry in this promotion is ineligible to enter this promotion.
The promotion begins at 5:00 PM local time on Friday 7th October, 2016.
Entries into the promotion close at 2:00 PM AEDT on Friday 14th October, 2016.
Online Entry
During the Promotion Period entrants will be invited to visit the Station Website and fully complete the online entry form in the manner required, including by providing their full name, mobile telephone number, current and valid email address, age, and topic they believe they are the Mastermind of (Nominated Category) and answering in 25 words or less the question “Why are you a Mastermind?”
Each valid entry will be individually reviewed by representatives of the Promoter (Judges) based on the Judging Criteria.
Each weekday during the Promotion Period between 12:00 PM AEDT and 3:00 PM AEDT the Promoter (in its sole and absolute discretion) will:
a) select up to ten (10) entrants judged to have submitted the ‘best’ entries based on the Judging Criteria (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) from all valid entries submitted during the Promotion Period (each, a Selected Entrant);
b) contact up to ten (10) Selected Entrant/s (in the absolute and sole discretion of the Promoter) by telephone; and
c) Place those Selected Entrants on the standby list for that day; and
d) invite one (1) Selected Entrant who submitted the ‘best’ online entry based on the Judging Criteria (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) to participate in the On Air Challenge as the challenger (Challenger) between 4:00 PM AEDT and 6:00 PM AEDT.
e) Contact one (1) Selected Entrant who submitted the ‘second best’ online entry based on the Judging Criteria (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) and invite them to have the guest mastermind (Mastermind) participate in the On Air Challenge on their behalf (Contestant).
On Air Challenge
a) For each On Air Challenge, the Promoter will have up to five (5) predetermined questions relating to the Challenger’s Nominated Category (each a Question).
b) Off-Air, the Promoter will ask the Mastermind each Question. If the Mastermind answers the Question correctly, (as determined by the Promoter in its absolute and sole discretion) they will be awarded one (1) point per Question.
c) On-Air, the Promoter will reveal the number of points and/or Questions that the Mastermind correctly answered.
d) The Promoter will then ask the Challenger (on-air) the same Questions. If the Challenger answers the Question correctly (as determined by the Promoter in its absolute and sole discretion) they will be awarded one (1) point. If the Challenger does not answer the Question correctly, they will not be awarded a point and the On Air Challenge will continue to the next Question.
e) At the end of each On Air Challenge, if the Challenger has correctly answered MORE Questions than the Mastermind (as
determined by the Promoter in its absolute and sole discretion)
they will win the Major Prize value for that day.
f) At the end of each On Air Challenge, if the Mastermind has
correctly answered MORE Questions than the Challenger (as determined by the Promoter in its absolute and sole discretion), the Contestant will be awarded a Minor Prize and the Challenger will not be awarded a Prize.
g) If the Challenger correctly answers the SAME number of Questions as the Mastermind, then the Challenger will not win a Prize and the Contestant will be awarded a Minor Prize.
h) In the instance that both the Challenger and the Mastermind correctly answer all five (5) Questions, the Challenger will win a Major Prize and the Contestant will win a Minor Prize.
For the avoidance of doubt, if an entrant is spoken to by a representative of the Promoter, it does not mean they have been selected as a Selected Entrant/Challenger/Contestant (as applicable) and they may not be invited to participate in the On-Air Challenge and/or be awarded a Minor Prize or Major Prize (if applicable).
For the avoidance of doubt, the Challenger (as applicable) must appear on air during the Promotion Period to be deemed a winner and awarded a Major Prize (if applicable) .
Entrants will also be asked at the time of entry if they would like to receive further information from Roadshow Films Pty Ltd and if an entrant selects “yes” (via opt in tick box) when completing the online entry form their contact details will be passed on to Roadshow Films Pty Ltd, (including for the purposes of direct marketing). Entrants may at any time unsubscribe from communications from Roadshow Films Pty Ltd by following the unsubscribe procedure contained in Roadshow Films Pty Ltd communications sent to subscribers.
Entrants may submit as many entries as they wish however each entry must be submitted via a separate online entry form and must independently comply with these Terms of Entry.
For the avoidance of doubt, entrants may only win one prize each.

All valid entries will be individually judged by representatives of the Promoter by Friday 14th October, 2016 at the Promoter’s premises to determine five (5) winners. All valid entries will be judged based on the Judging Criteria. The winner will be notified in accordance with the Notification of Winners information set out below.

Various cash amounts ranging from $1,000 up to $5,000 (as determined by the promoter in its sole and absolute discretion). For the avoidance of doubt, the total amount of cash given away as a Major prize during the Promotion Period will not exceed AU$5,000.
Challengers will be notified at the time of participation in the On Air Challenge of the prize value available for them to win during the relevant contest spot.
Prize will be electronically transferred into the prize winner's nominated Australian bank account.
