CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Information on how to enter this competition forms part of these terms and conditions of entry (Conditions of Entry). Entry into this competition is deemed to be an acceptance of all Conditions of Entry.
Entry is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand, who join the #dottisquad by signing up in store or online. Existing members of the #dottisquad are not eligible to enter, as are employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, Just Group Ltd and its related companies, and associated agencies, suppliers or companies associated with this competition.
The competition commences on 10 October 2016 and concludes at 11.59pm (AEST) on 6 November 2016 (Promotional Period).
One Dotti gift card will be awarded to one winner which the winner can use to purchase a new outfit of their choice at Dotti. If the winner is a resident of Australia, a Dotti gift card valued at AUD$500 will be awarded to that winner. If the winner is a resident of New Zealand, one Dotti gift card valued at NZD$500 will be awarded to that winner. The prize winner is advised that tax implications may arise from their prize and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of their prize. All taxes (excluding GST) which may be payable as a consequence of receiving the prize is the sole responsibility of the winner.
The winning entry will be the first drawn by the Promoter from a list of eligible entrants on 8 November 2016 at 12.00pm (AEST) at 658 Church Street, Richmond, Victoria, 3121. The Promoter will notify the winner by email on or about 10 November 2016. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who interferes with or fails to comply with the correct entry process, or who submits an entry which is not in accordance with these conditions.
Entries not completed or submitted in accordance with these Conditions of Entry or received after the closing date will not be considered. Indecipherable or incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.
If the winner is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to that person’s parent or guardian on behalf of the winner.
The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding on every person who enters and no correspondence will be entered into.
The prize must be taken as offered and cannot be varied or taken as cash. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. The Promoter is not liable for any gift card that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way. Redemption of gift cards is subject to terms and conditions stipulated on the reverse of the gift card.
Subject to any written directions issued by any regulatory authority, any prize that remains unclaimed 3 months after the closing date will be distributed by way of an unclaimed prize draw at the same place as the original draw on 8 February 2016 at 10.00am (AEST). This draw will be made up of all entrants who have entered the competition. The winner will be notified by email.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Conditions of Entry; (e) any tax liability incurred by the winner or entrant; and/or (f) participation in the prize.
The Promoter reserves the right (subject to reference to all relevant state and territory regulations) to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this competition at any time.
If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries.
All entries become the property of the Promoter. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information provided in connection with this competition is governed by the Privacy Policy (see
www.dotti.com.au for full details).
At the request of the Promoter, the winner agrees (without charge) to participate in any promotional activities planned by the Promoter and consent to their name (including for example their Instagram profile name) and image being used in the Promoter’s marketing materials (including the Promoter’s Instagram feed or on its other social media platforms).
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
