Information on how to enter and the prize form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.
Entrants must complete and submit the online entry form at
www.wendywutours.com.au/competition/ during the competition entry period.
To enter simply answer the question ‘Name one UNESCO World Heritage site in Asia?’ Entrants have until 1700AEST 30 November 2016 to submit their entry. The winner will be notified on the 1st December 2016.
Entry is open to residents of Australia who are over the age of 18 years. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter.
Entrants can only enter once.
The competition commences 14 July 2016 and closes at 1700AEST on 30 November 2016
This competition is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner(s). All entries will be judged on answering the qualifying question correctly.
Judging will take place at 1000AEST on 1 December 2016 at the Wendy Wu Tours head office – Level 6, 20 Hunter Street, Sydney NSW 2000. Entries will be judged by a panel of judges from Wendy Wu Tours. The winner will be contacted by phone or email and their name will be published on the Wendy Wu Tours Australia Facebook Page.
Major prize consists of two places, travelling twin share, on a group tour of the winner’s choice, to the value of $3,500 per person (TOTAL value $7,000). Conditions of the major prize:
Prize must be taken by two people, to the value of $3,500, and full prize value of $7,000 cannot be taken by one person.
Any additional costs incurred by the winner by booking a more expensive tour are to be paid by the winner, following the usual Wendy Wu Tours bookings conditions that apply to the chosen tour.
If the tour chosen, is not to the full $7,000 value, no refund shall be given. Any remaining prize value will be forfeited. Prize is not transferable and not redeemable for cash.
All travel must be completed by 31 December 2017. Travel prize will be forfeited if not redeemed within this time. Travel period restrictions may apply.
Extensions of validity are not possible
Tipping is paid locally and is the prize winners responsibility. All other ancillary costs including but not limited to travel insurance, meals, drinks, transfers, personal expenditure and all other expenses are the responsibility of the winner.
Airfare conditions apply, as per the relevant airline.
Any changes to this booking may result in additional charges and fees which are the responsibility of the prize winner.
Travel to/from airports and any overnight accommodation required due to flight schedules is the responsibility of the winner.
All services are subject to availability.
Passport validity is the responsibility of the prize winner.
All taxes (excluding GST) and including Fringe Benefits Tax which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Winner must contact their Wendy Wu Tours Marketing department to commence booking arrangements. Ample time is required by Wendy Wu Tours to make arrangements.
The judges’ decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.
In the event that any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (even if caused by negligence) as a result of accepting and/or using a prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
The prize is subject to the terms and conditions of Wendy Wu Tours. The Promoter is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any winner as a result of the conduct of third party suppliers.
The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of winners and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this promotion.
The winner [and any other person(s) sharing the prize with the winner] may be required to sign a booking form or release by Wendy Wu tours pertaining to the prize.
The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches. If such problems arise, then the Promoter may modify the competition.
Entrants confirm and promise that their entry is original and does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
By participating, entrants agree that ownership of and intellectual property in their entry is assigned to the Promoter.
Entries remain the property of the Promoter. Details from entries will be collected and used for the purposes of conducting this competition (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of processing and conducting the competition) and for promotional purposes surrounding this competition. By entering this competition entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant.
