Juke Box Coffee is a Coffee Roaster based in the small town of Seaham in the Hunter Valley, nestled between Newcastle and Maitland.
Juke Box started with two passions. One for coffee and one
for music. A love of trying new coffees and the question “how did they make that coffee like that?” A Sunday morning ritual of making a Coffee and listening to our favourite music. A partnering of what music will go with which coffee. Can you listen to a Ballard whilst drinking a Robusta coffee?
A Christmas present of a small roaster - soon became a full time hobby. Learning the Intricacies of roasting on a small roaster was the perfect training ground. As our roasting skills grew our client list grew from roasting just for ourselves to roasting for friends and family - and then friends of friends of family...
We bit the bullet and bought our dream machine - A Probat Coffee Roaster.
We are now roasting our coffee and have developed our blends. Our clients now include Cafe's, business' and individuals throughout the Hunter and beyond.
Every blend we create is inspired by a song. A song creates emotion, passion and feelings - and this is what we hope to create with our coffee.
Our beans are responsibly sourced - and roasted using a small commercial Probat roaster. We have a single origin every month - showcasing one bean from a single plantation. We also have our album of regular blends as well as our guest artists - of different blends, so we can utilise the newest beans as they hit Australian shores.
Our beans are sourced from all over the world.
