Here’s your chance to see LION, starring Nicole Kidman and Dev Patel, Rooney Mara and David Wenham.

LION is based on extraordinary the true story of Saroo Brierley. At the age of five, Saroo (Patel) was lost before ultimately being adopted by Tasmanian couple, Sue and John Brierley. Twenty five years later, he sets out to find his lost family and finally return to his first home.



LION is an awards season front-runner, nominated for four Golden Globe Awards including Best Picture, Nicole Kidman for Best Supporting Actress and Dev Patel for Best Supporting Actor. Composers Dustin O’Halloran and Hauschka have also been nominated for Best Original Score.

LION was adapted for the screen by Luke Davies from Saroo’s autobiography ‘A Long Way Home’
