Capture the train and win! Photo Competition
Can you capture the spirit of rail in Queensland through the lens of your camera?
We are inviting all budding photographers, whether you are travelling on one of our services, a local resident where one of our trains travel through, or just travelling around Queensland. Submit your best photo of your train journey or favourite train for your chance to win.
Queensland is full of beautiful and exciting destinations just waiting to be discovered, and what a better way to experience them than through the magic of rail.
Queensland Rail Travel’s comprehensive network of long distance and tourist trains extend along the Queensland coastline from Brisbane to Cairns, and west to Charleville, Longreach and Mount Isa.
The winner will receive a one-way Economy or Premium Economy Seat rail journey to any destination in Queensland for two people.
How to enter:
Take a striking photo of one of Queensland Rail Travel’s long distance services that captures the spirit of rail travel through ‘Landscapes’ in Queensland and meets the conditions of entry.
1. Email
qldrailtravel@qr.com.au or private message with your name, email address and phone number; and
2. A high resolution photograph with a title and caption, including the location of where the photo was taken (Photograph Entry) by the Competition Closing Date
3. Photographs submitted must be supplied as a JPEG file. The file must be at least 300DPI but not exceed 50MB in size
4. Winners announced will be contacted by phone or email
5. Entry opens 1st December 2016, entries close 28 February 2017.
