HOW TO ENTER
To enter the Godfrey Hirst Summer Vibes Promotion between 6th of February 2017 and 27th of February 2017 (“promotion period”):
Only one entry per household/residential address will be accepted. Entrants can only enter in their own name. Email addresses cannot be shared and must be unique. Entries not completed in accordance with these terms and conditions are void, and if more than one entry is received per household or email address, the first completed on the facebook page will be the only valid entry.
PRIZE
The first valid entry drawn from the data base of all valid entries entered by the Godfrey Hirst facebook page during the promotion period will win a Coco Hanging Chair from Byron Bay Hanging Chairs to the value of $499 in the colour Light Honey, organised by Godfrey Hirst and delivered to the winner’s residence at the address set out in the entry form. Please note that rope/chain or ceiling fixtures are not included with this chair, however one white cushion is included.
Winners will be drawn by computer generated selection on the 28th of February 2017at 3.00pm by ManBrands (‘promoter agency’) at 17 Simmons Street, South Yarra VIC 3141.
The prize must be taken as stated and is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. No compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the prize as stated. The promoter reserves the right to issue to the winner in lieu of the Coco Hanging Chair a Visa gift card of same value.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Participation in this promotion is deemed to be an acceptance of these terms and conditions
2. The Godfrey Hirst Summer Vibes Promotion is only open to Australian residents who are aged over 18 years. Directors, management, employees (and their immediate families) of Godfrey Hirst or the promoter agency and their related bodies corporate or any agencies or companies associated with the promotion are not eligible to enter this promotion
3. The total prize pool is valued at $500 (including GST). The promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any change in the value of a prize occurring between the date of printing and the date the prize is claimed. All ancillary costs associated with redeeming this prize, or any tax liability arising as a result of accepting the prize, is the responsibility of the winner. Independent financial advice should be sought.
4. The promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of the entry and request the winner to provide proof of identity and residency prior to awarding the prize. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of Godfrey Hirst.
5. The winner will be notified by email and via a facebook post within 2 days of the draw and their name published on the Godfrey Hirst facebook site. The Coco Hanging Chair will be ordered on behalf of the winner within 14 days of the relevant draw.
6. If Godfrey Hirst is unable to contact a winning entrant within the five (5) working days of the draw date, a re-draw will take place, subject however to any written directions given under any relevant state authorities.
7. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Godfrey Hirst, its associated bodies corporate, their officers, employees and agents (a) shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of entering this promotion or receiving, using or taking the prize; and (b), will not accept any liability in respect to the prize offered in this promotion and has no liability for any act, omission or default, whether negligent or otherwise, of the supplier of the prize or any service provider or third party.
8. Certain personal information of participants will be collected in order to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the participant may not participate in the promotion. Participant’s personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and the winner’s name and address published as required under the relevant lottery legislation and posted on the Godfrey Hirst facebook page and the winner consents to the use of the winner’s name, address and any photographs of the winner for promotional purposes, in any media for an unlimited period of time without any remuneration. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each participant authorizes Godfrey Hirst and any of its agents or contractors to seek access to, collect and use such information or disclose that information between themselves for the purpose of administering the promotion and the provision or performance of services relating to the promotion and for future marketing, promotional and publicity purposes, including sending the participant electronic messages.
9. The decision of Godfrey Hirst shall be final in all matters relating to the application of any rule or other aspect of this promotion. Subject to any relevant state authorities, Godfrey Hirst reserves the right to amend, vary or cancel any aspect of this promotion and/or the prize and will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations.
