THE COMPETITION
The Promoter is North Coast News Pty Ltd, Suite 2, Ground Floor, 144 – 148 West High Street, Coffs Harbour, New South Wales 2450. ABN 78 000 055 578, Permit NSW/LTPM/16/00786.
By entering this competition, Contestants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Contestants must be permanent residents of New South Wales to be eligible to enter and live in The Coffs Coast Advocate distribution area.
Contestants who are aged under 18 years must have parent/legal guardian permission to enter this competition.
ENTRY
To enter, Contestants must go online at
www.coffscoastadvocate.com.au/competitions and enter their information in full as requested including (but not limited to) name, address, telephone number, email address. Online entry opens Saturday February 25, 2017 at 00:00:01am AEDT.
Contestants may only enter once.
There is no cost to enter the competition; however, internet connection and usage rates may apply. Contestants should obtain details of such costs from their service providers. The Promoter is not and will not be liable for any such costs.
Entries must be received during the Promotion Period (refer Clause 11). The Promoter takes no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, illegible or misdirected entries or any delays or failure in any telecommunications service or equipment.
The Promoter may reject an entry if it reasonably forms the opinion that the Entry has been entered using false information or via automated entry means or by use of a competition entry service.
The Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, declare an Entry made by a contestant invalid if the contestant tampers with the entry process, benefits from such tampering or submits an Entry that is illegible, incomplete or not in accordance with these terms and conditions.
PROMOTION PERIOD
The competition commences at 00:00:01am AEDT Saturday February 25, 2017 and closes at 12:00pm AEDT Monday March 6, 2017 (“Promotion Period”). Entries received outside the Promotion Period will be deemed invalid.
PRIZES
There will be four (4) winners chosen by random draw. The prizes will be drawn highest value prize to lowest value prize:
Two (2) winners will receive:
1 of 2 Family Passes for the Stardust Circus, RRP $120.00 (incl. of GST).
A Family pass entitles a family of 2 adults and 2 children aged between 3 and 16 years to attend one performance of the Stardust Circus.
Two (2) winners will receive:
1 of 2 Double Passes (2 people (children aged 3 – 16years) for the Stardust Circus, RRP $70.00 (incl. of GST).
Double Pass entitles two people (children must be aged 3 – 16 years) to attend one performance of the Stardust Circus.
The Stardust Circus performs at Coffs Harbour Showgrounds between Thursday March 9, 2017 and Sunday March 19, 2017 (inclusive).
Session times are available by contacting the Stardust Circus.
The prizes are valid for attendance at one performance of Stardust Circus in Coffs Harbour and cannot be used for any other Stardust Circus event.
Passes cannot be split and must be used for the same performance.
The winners must collect their prize letter from the Coffs Coast Advocate office by 12:00pm AEDT Friday March 17, 2017.
Any prize remaining uncollected at 12:00pm AEDT Friday March 17, 2017 will be entered into an uncollected prize with further winners drawn at random as per these terms and conditions and contacted immediately.
The total maximum recommended retail value of the prize pool is $380.00 (inclusive of GST).
All prizes are shown at the Recommended Retail Price and are inclusive of GST and the Promoter takes no responsibility for any variation in item value.
Any taxes which may be payable as a consequence of a contestant winning a prize, are the sole responsibility of that winner.
Prizes are non-transferable and can’t be redeemed for cash.
If the specified prize becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter may substitute a prize of similar nature and/or like or greater value.
ELIGIBILITY LIMITATIONS
The following persons are ineligible to enter:
Employees of, or contractors to, the Promoter as far as they are directly associated with this competition;
The spouse, de facto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), of such employees and contractors (whether or not they live in the same household);
Contestants who have used or attempted to use any more than one name in order to qualify to win any contest run by the Promoter except in the case of a legal change of name.
All Contestants acknowledge that even if the Promoter only learns of a person’s ineligibility after the Promoter has appeared to award the prize to the ineligible person, it may require the return of the prize or payment of its value to the Promoter to be dealt with as an unclaimed prize.
PRIZE DRAW
The prize winners will be selected via electronic random draw at the Daily Examiner office, Grafton on Friday March 6, 2017 at 12:05pm AEDT and prizes awarded following winner validation and verification. The winners will be contacted by telephone.
Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
All Contestants acknowledge that the Promoter has the right to publicise and publish his/her name, character and likeness.
All contest winners must avail themselves for a photo if required by the Promoter and acknowledge that the Promoter has the right to utilise publicity photos in any reasonable manner it sees fit without compensation to the Contestant.
PRIZE COLLECTION
Prizes must be claimed in person by the winners from The Coffs Coast Advocate office and Government issued Photo ID is required to confirm winner identify and residential address.
Any winner must complete a Competition Release Form to confirm collection of their prize.
Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by the parent/legal guardian who provided their permission to enter the competition, to collect the prize on their behalf.
It is the sole responsibility of the winner to claim their prize.
PROMOTER’S LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
27. The Promoter is not responsible for the loss of prizes due to incorrect or imprecise delivery details provided by a winner. The Promoter also takes no responsibility for prizes lost or stolen after they have been released for delivery via postage or courier.
28. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of any of the goods/services offered as prizes.
29. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss suffered or sustained by any person and including, but not limited to consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to the prize winner(s) and, where applicable, to any persons accompanying the winners.
PRIVACY
30. All entries become and remain the property of the Promoter and its related parties, subject to the limits contained in the Privacy Statement and as set out in these terms and conditions.
31. The Promoter and its related parties, also collect personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may use and disclose such information in accordance with its privacy policy
