The Gluten Free Food Expo is relocating to a new location at the Royal International Convention Centre for its 12th year and WeekendNotes subscribers have the chance to win 1 of 10 Double Passes to either day of the event (Saturday 20th May: 9.30am – 5pm or Sunday 21st May: 9.30am – 3pm).
The Gluten Free Food Expo is an annual celebration of 50 of Australia's best gluten-free food producers, MasterChef cooking demonstrations and keynote presentations from medical professionals who specialise in the management of coeliac disease.
1 in 70 Australians live with coeliac disease, and thousands more are gluten intolerant or choose a gluten free lifestyle. "This is a weekend where expo goers can sample and purchase the latest gluten free foods as well as enjoy an informative and fun weekend" said Coeliac Queensland Executive Officer, Glen Harriss.
"Following the huge success of 2016 where we had a record attendance of 5,216, up 66% from 2015, attendees stayed longer, and spent more than ever on exhibitor products. We are working on making 2017 our biggest year ever. The move to Royal International Convention Centre provides an opportunity to refresh the look and feel of the event."
