1. The Championship will be under the management and control of the PGA of Australia (PGA) and the PGA’s considered decision with relation to any disputes is final.
2. The Championship:
2.1. Maroons Festival Amateur Golf Championship will be played over 36 holes of stableford on 30th and 31st May, 2017 at both Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club (The Palms) and Indooroopilly Golf Club (Presidents Course).
2.2 The minimum number of prizes which will be awarded are as follows:
36 Hole Stableford Winner
36 Hole Stableford Runner Up
18 Hole Winner (Tuesday 30th May, 2017)
18 Hole Runner Up (Tuesday 30th May, 2017)
18 Hole Winner (Wednesday 31st May, 2017)
18 Hole Runner Up (Wednesday 31st May, 2017)
36 Hole Non Handicap Winner • 36 Hole Non Handicap Runner Up
NTP’s each day
2.3 Each competitor can win one prize only (excluding NTP’s) with the main prizes of 36 Hole Stableford Winner and Runner Up preceding all other prizes. Any ties for the aforementioned prizes (excluding NTP’s) shall be resolved using a count back (final 18, 9, 6, 3, 2, 1 hole(s) if required).
3. Amateur Entries:
3.1 Entries must be received by the PGA by no later than 5pm on Friday 28th April, 2017 unless otherwise extended and must be complete via the online portal or the official entry form only.
3.2 The Championship is open to all amateur golfers with a Golf Australia Handicap and are a financial member of an affiliated Golf Club. Competitors Golf Australia handicap shall remain the same for both rounds of the Championship unless determined by the PGA that a handicap alteration is required to produce equity.
3.3 The total entry fee for the Championship is $595 including GST and shall be charged at the time of entry and is non refundable. Should unforeseen circumstances occur, a competitors position in the Championship field may be transferable though no reduction or refund is offered should the competitor not compete in all or any rounds.
3.4 Other fees and conditions relating to Holden State of Origin Tickets and Accommodation shall be subject to the same conditions unless otherwise stated.
3.5 The PGA reserves the right to refuse any competitors entry.
4. Publicity:
4.1 Should publicity of the Championship occur, by means of live and recorded radio and television broadcasting, by filming, and in electronic form, the players assent to references and/or pictures of them for commercial purposes of the PGA, QRL and Championship Sponsors.
4.2 All publicity rights are reserved only to the PGA and may only be made under licence.
5. Privacy:
5.1 The PGA of Australia may retain the personal details (i.e. name, address, handicap) of competitors in this Championship on its records. The purpose of doing so is such that information on other future events conducted by the PGA (or other parties) can be forwarded as deemed appropriate by the PGA.

www.pga.org.au/privacy 6. Dress Regulations: It is a requirement of the Championship that all players must comply with the dress standards of the host venues being Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club, Indooroopilly Golf Club and Suncorp Stadium.
7. Practice: Practice rounds for the Championship shall be coordinated with the host venues and at the ultimate discretion (cost and availability) of the applicable facilities.
8. Rules: The Championship will be played under the auspices of the PGA and in accordance with the Rules of Golf, as adopted by R & A Rules Limited and any applicable Local Rules
9. Draw
9.1 A draw for each day’s play will be made and published on the PGA website and other applicable locations. Players shall start at the time and in the order prescribed by the PGA and in alignment to the Rules of Golf
9.2 Round 1 draw will be coordinated to permit competitors to request playing partners.
9.3 Round 2 draw will be seeded in relation to their round 1 score
10. Code of Conduct: All competitors are bound by an acceptable code as prescribed at each of the host venues including though not limited to Sanctuary Cove Golf and Country Club,Indooroopilly Golf Club.
11. The Promoter reserves the right to alter or amend these terms and conditions and/or to cancel the competition at any time prior to the competition opening without further recourse to the entrants.
12. Entrants must fully and correctly complete and submit the entry form on website. If you do not supply the information, your entry will be deemed invalid. You may only enter this competition once.
13. Force Majeure: If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned (including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter), which corrupts or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition. The Promoter reserves the right it its sole discretion to disqualify all entries from any individual who tampers with, or benefits from tampering with the entry process which as a result corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Competition.
