Competition Terms & Conditions
Moreton Island Adventure prize certificate valid 12 months from date of issue. Prize valid off peak periods only (no school holidays or public holiday weekends). Prize cannot be exchanged for cash. Pre-booking is essential. The reference number must be provided as proof of purchase no redemption can be made without the reference number. Once booked standard terms and conditions apply to all prize bookings. Terms and conditions will be sent with the confirmation of the booking and can also be found on the Moreton Island Adventures website at
www.moretonislandadventures.com.au.
The promoter is Hema Maps Pty Ltd ABN 34 010 601 911 whose registered office is at Building 14, Garden City Office Park, 2404 Logan Rd, Eight Mile Plains QLD 4113.
Employees of Hema Maps Pty Ltd and Moreton Island Adventures or their family members or anyone else connected in any way with the competition or marketing contacts are not permitted to enter the competition.
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition. Facebook account required to enter.
Prize is Moreton Island Adventures package which includes 4 night glamping accommodation, 1x MICAT Island Transfer for 1 vehicle without a trailer and 4 passengers, 1 month vehicle access permit, 4x cooked breakfast at Castways, 4x sandboarding experience, 4x night kayak experience PLUS 1x Hema HX-1 Navigator valued at $699 with HX-1 Sun Visor valued at $39.95 as well as free express postage.
Closing date for entry will be at 12noon Thursday 15th of June 2017. After this date the no further entries to the competition will be accepted.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
The rules of the competition and the prize for each winner are as follows:
The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter's control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
This competition is a game of skill. To enter, you are required to comment on the Facebook competition post stating why you & your mates need a Moreton Island escape in 1 sentence.
The winner will be decided by an adjudicator chosen by Moreton Island Adventures.
The winner will be notified by email and/or phone within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected.
The promoter's decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
The winner agrees to the use of his/her name in any publicity material relating to winning the competition. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Australian personal privacy legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party. Hema Maps may contact you via email at the conclusion of this competition.
The winner's name will be available 28 days after closing date by email that will be sent to all entrants.
Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
