Prize: Levoit Air Purifier with True HEPA Filter
A breath of fresh air does not come in an aerosol can or plug-in device. Those are chemical fake smells. What I’m talking about is pure and fresh unadulterated air without anything more.
The Levoit air purifier uses 3 filters to remove smells, allergens, and dust particles. The model number LV-H132 will cover an 86-square foot area. Put it in your bedroom, family room, or anyplace you want the purist air you can breathe.
The air purifier is an ionizer not an ozone generator so will not harm birds. An ionizer purifies the air by introducing negative ions while an ozone generator produces ozone which is O3 versus O2 that is oxygen. An ozone generator removes smells and replaces the air with that typical ozone smell just like when lightning strikes nearby and it doesn’t do that.
The HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filter removes 99.97% of particulates, odors, bacteria, mold spores, pet dander, dust, and allergens that induce allergies in the air.
The unit comes with 3 filters:
Fine weave of material next to the HEPA filter for removing pet dander, bacteria, mold, and fungus.
The middle filter is the HEPA for controlling dust, dust mites, pollen, and larger particles.
The end filter is the activated carbon filter that removes stale tobacco, cooking and doggy odors.
With the unit, you will receive all 3 filters. Levoit Replacement Filters LV-H132-RF are available on Amazon.com® and should be changed out approximately every 6-months or so.
Note: It’s very important to remove the plastic wrap from each filter or the unit will overpower and not function damaging the unit.
Plug the UL® listed cord into a USA 110/120-Volt, 8-Watts power in the wall outlet. For those outside the USA, Canada, or Mexico, you will have to buy a 220/240-Volt adapter to run the unit.
