The infamous Eureka Tower is one of the most photographed landmarks in Melbourne. Each photo taken tells a unique story, and now we want to know what your Skydeck story is!
To enter our 2017 Photo Competition, simply upload a photo that you believe best represents Eureka Skydeck in the heart of Melbourne, the World’s Most Liveable City! This Photo Competition encourages photographers of all levels to submit a great photo, showcasing their love of Melbourne plus Eureka Skydeck.
HOW TO ENTER:
For your chance to WIN, simply upload your favourite image which features the Eureka Tower or views from the Eureka Skydeck to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #SnapSkydeck, and get creative!
WHEN TO ENTER:
Entries open from 1st October 2017 to 31st October 2017, and entry is FREE!

One lucky winner will receive a $1,000 voucher from DigiDirect Cameras & Imaging, 50 x 70cm framed print of your winning image and an Annual Skypass Membership.

Eureka Skydeck “#SnapSkydeck Photography
Competition” Terms & Conditions
This document sets out the terms of participation in
the Eureka Skydeck Photography Competition. By
entering the #SnapSkydeck Photography Competition
you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.
WHO CAN ENTER:
1. Entry to the competition is open to all legal residents
of Australia only. An entrant must be an individual and
not a company or organisation. Entrants must be 18
years of age or older.
2. The Promoter is Melbourne Eureka Tower
Observation Deck Pty Ltd. Employees of Red Rock
Leisure and any person associated with the
competition, along with any organisation or individual
associated with the provision of the prize(s), are not
eligible to enter.
WHEN TO ENTER:
3. The competition opens at 12:00am 1st October 2017
(AEDT) and closes at 11:59pm 31st October 2017
(AEDT). Photos uploaded prior to 1st October 2017 and
edited with the hashtag will not be accepted. Any entry
received after the expiry of the competition period will
be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted for
late, lost, delayed or misdirected entries.
HOW TO ENTER:
4. To enter the competition, photos can only be
uploaded to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with the
hashtag #SnapSkydeck. This is restricted to images
which feature the Eureka Tower or views from the
Eureka Skydeck, capturing Melbourne. Photo cannot
depict any lewd, illegal or distasteful content.
5. Entry into the competition is free.
6. Entrants are able to submit more than one entry. An
entry must be the entrant’s original, personal creation;
be in English; cannot have been previously published or
submitted in any competition or have won any awards;
and must be solely owned by the entrant. Photos
cannot contain any third parties, any footage, or other
material subject to third party rights. Entrants
submitting photos that they do not own will be
disqualified from the competition.
7. The entrant’s profile must be set to “public” on
Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter in order for the
entry to be received by Eureka Skydeck.
8. Photos must be uploaded in digital format, but the
original photography does not need to have been taken
on a digital camera. High quality scans of
transparencies or negatives will be accepted.
9. Finalists must be able to provide a 5MB version of
their original photo without a watermark.
10. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed,
administered by, or associated with Facebook,
Instagram or Twitter.
PRIZES:
11. Major prize: $1,000 voucher from DigiDirect
Cameras & Imaging, 50x70cm framed print, and 1x
Annual Skypass Membership.
12. Annual Skypass Membership (valued at $60) is
valid from 13th November 2017 to 13th November 2018,
and is non-transferrable.
13. Only if winner lives interstate, can they redeem 1x
family pass to Eureka Skydeck instead of Annual
Skypass Membership. Family admission (valued at
$46) will expire on 13th November 2018.
14. The winner must claim their prizes within two (2)
weeks of being notified that they have won. Failure to
claim the prize within two weeks may result in a rejudge
and they will not be entitled to any
supplementary prize or benefit. No component of the
prize can be substituted, transferred or redeemed for
cash.
15. Finalists agree to allow Eureka Skydeck to use their
photograph for promotional, marketing and publicity
purposes in any media without notice, royalties or
payment.
16. Each entry must be entered in accordance with
these Terms and Conditions. Eureka Skydeck may in its
discretion refuse to award any prize to any entrant who
fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
HOW TO WIN:
17. The judge's decision is final and no
correspondence will be entered into. The winner will be
notified on 13th November 2017.
18. The winner will be determined by the most number
of ‘votes’ within an unbiased environment.
19. The winner will be announced on the Eureka
Skydeck website (
www.eurekaskydeck.com.au),
Facebook (
www.facebook.com.au/eurekaskydeck),
Instagram (
www.instagram.com/eureka_skydeck) and
Twitter (twitter.com/eureka_skydeck) pages, and
contacted via personal message. Winner must make
contact directly to
social@eurekaskydeck.com.au to
confirm details and provide a postal address to claim
prize.
20. The winner’s image and social media handle will be
published on the Eureka Skydeck website for a
minimum of 30 days from 13th November 2017.
