Hey readers, guess what? We really love you. You know what else we love? Dressing up. And while we know it’s more of an American thing, we’re not afraid to admit that Halloween excites us. Who doesn’t love an excuse to dress up and scare strangers? So to celebrate our love of you and Halloween, and considering how much you loved it last year, we’re about to launch our biggest giveaway ever … again!
For the second year running, The Weekend Edition is getting ready to launch an exciting game with its readers – a little game called Trick or Treat.
To play, visit The Weekend Edition between 2:30 pm on Monday October 30 until 5:00 pm on Friday November 3. As you search through the site, you’ll find randomly placed pumpkins in a number of stories. A hint for players – dig deep and be sure to scroll through articles! Some pumpkins will be tricky to find. We weren’t going to make it easy for you! Simply click on the pumpkin to reveal either a trick (boo!) or treat (woo!). If you get tricked keep searching – there are plenty of prizes up for grabs and new prizes will be released each day. If you get a treat, you’ll be prompted to enter your details to claim your prize – but you’ll only have ten minutes to do so before a ghoul steals it back from you! Please note there’s a limit of one prize per person, we don’t like greedy ghosts.
