(1) Information on how to enter and the prize details form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
(2) The promoter is Exhibitions and Trade Fairs Pty Ltd, ABN 72 101 130 527 (“Promoter”) of Aquatica Unit 7, 344 Lorimer Street, Port Melbourne, VIC 3207 (“Promoter’s Offices”).
(3) The show is the National 4x4 Outdoors Show, Fishing & Boating Expo which takes place from 16 March to 18 March 2018 at the Brisbane Showgrounds (“Show”).
(4) Entry is open to Australian residents 16 years and older (except for NSW residents who are excluded). Employees of the Promoter or its associated entities and agencies and their immediate family members are not, however, permitted to enter.
(5) The promotion starts at on 22 January 2018 and ends when online ticket sales close on 18 March 2018 (“Promotion Period”).
How to Enter
(6) To enter you must purchase at least 1 entry ticket to the Show online and provide your name, e mail and contact phone number. You will automatically be credited with one entry for each ticket purchased.
Draw Details and Prizes
(7) The winner/winners will be determined by a random electronic draw to be conducted at the Promoter’s Offices at 10 am on 20 March 2018.
There will be one winner. The person whose entry is the first valid entry to be drawn will win a Dometic Cool Ice CI 85 icebox and accessories valued at $593.90 (RRP) supplied by Dometic Australia Pty Ltd, ABN 62 086 366 305 (“Dometic”). The total value of the prize is thus $593.90.
(9) If a prize is not available for a reason beyond the Promoter’s control, the promoter may substitute a different prize item of equal or greater value subject to relevant state and territory regulations.
(10) The prize is not exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
Winner Notification
(12) The winner will be notified in writing by phone and e mail on the day of the draw and their name (once verified) will be published on the Show website
www.4x4show.com.au on the date of the draw. The prize will be delivered to the winner’s nominated address in Australia by Dometic.
Unclaimed Prizes
(13) A draw for any unclaimed prize will take place on 20 April 2018 at the Promoter’s Offices subject to any directions of a regulatory authority. The winner (if any) will be notified by e mail & phone & their name published on the Show website on the date of the draw.
Privacy and Use of Information
(14) The Promoter collects personal information (“PI”) from entrants to conduct this Promotion & may disclose this PI
to regulatory authorities & relevant third parties, including its related entities, agents & the prize suppliers. The Promoter & these third parties may use this PI for promotional, marketing, research & profiling purposes (including sending electronic messages to or phoning the entrants) in accordance with the law & their respective privacy policies. (15) The winner consents to the use of their name, voice & image in any media without remuneration for the purposes of promoting the business, products & services of the Promoter & the prize suppliers.
General Matters and Exclusion of Liability
(16) The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries & entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age & place of residence) & disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms & Conditions or who tampers with the entry process.
(17) If this Promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter may, to the fullest extent permitted by law & subject to any written directions from a relevant authority, modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.
(18) Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or any loss or damage - whether direct, indirect, special or consequential - arising in any way out of this competition or the awarding or use of a prize. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications arising from the prize. The winner should seek independent financial advice as to such implications.
(19) The Promoter’s decisions are final and the promoter will not enter into any correspondence with respect to them.
