Entrants and any Contestants must be: 18 years of age or over.
Entrants may submit as many entries as they wish however each entry must be submitted via a separate entry and must independently comply with these Competition Terms of Entry.
For the avoidance of doubt, unless otherwise expressly stated, entrants may only win one (1) prize each in the Promotion.
Online Entry
During the Promotion Period entrants must complete the online entry form and register their details in the manner required on the Website, answer the nominated questions and provide the name of a family member who they would nominate to represent them and participate in the On Air Challenge on their behalf (Contestant).
Each entry will be individually reviewed by representatives of the Promoter (Judges) based on the Judging Criteria. Selection of Selected Entrants
At various times during the Promotion Period the Promoter (in its sole and absolute discretion) will:
(a) select up to four (4) entrants judged to have submitted the ‘best’ online entries based on the Judging Criteria (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) from all valid entries submitted up until that date during the Promotion Period (Selected Entrant);
(b) contact up to four (4) of the Selected Entrants (in the sole and absolute discretion of the Promoter) by telephone to discuss their Online Entry and assess their suitability for radio and verify eligibility to enter the Promotion (based on these Terms of Entry in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion); and
(c) invite (2) Selected Entrants judged to have submitted the ‘best’ online entries (based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) (Finalists); and
(d) invite the Finalist’s Contestants to appear on air and participate in the On Air Challenge at times notified to the both the Selected Entrants and the Contestants.
For the avoidance of doubt, the On Air Challenge will only take place on the following dates:
Monday 23 April 2018;
Tuesday 24 April 2018;
Thursday 26 April 2018; and
Friday 27 April 2018.
For the avoidance of doubt, Selected Entrants will only be eligible to become Finalists if the Promoter is satisfied (in its sole and absolute discretion) that the entrants’ Contestants corresponds with the following eligibility criteria for each date of the On Air Challenge:
On Air Challenge
(e) The Contestants will be asked to correctly answer (on air) a number of questions (each a Question) within a specified period of time (Challenge Time) (to be determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion);
(f) The Promoter will select a Contestant at random (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) and invite that Contestant to answer the Questions correctly within a nominated time frame (to be determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion);
(g) The first Contestant will continue to answer the Questions until the Contestant does not answer a Question correctly or does not answer a Question within the nominated time frame (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion);
(h) If the first Contestant does not answer a Question correctly or does not answer a Question within the nominated time frame (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion), the Promoter will invite the second Contestant to answer the Questions;
(i) The second Contestant will continue to answer the Questions until the Second Contestant does not answer a Question correctly or does not answer a Question within the nominated time frame (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion);
(j) If the second Contestant does not answer a Question correctly or does not answer a Question within the nominated time frame (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion), the Promoter will invite the first Contestant to answer the Questions;
(k) The Promoter will continue this process until the Challenge Time ends.;
The Finalist whose Contestant was the last to be invited by the Promoter to answer a Question when the Challenge Time ends (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) will be deemed a winner and awarded a Prize (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion).
For the avoidance of doubt, the Contestant will not be eligible for the Prize. The Contestant will participate in the On Air Challenge on behalf of the Finalist, and the Finalist whose Contestant wins the On Air Challenge will be awarded a Prize.
For the avoidance of doubt, to be eligible to enter this Promotion, entrants must nominate the a Contestant to participate in the On Air Challenge on their behalf.
Guesses must be made on air
Contestants may only submit guesses on-air as specified in the Entry Method. Guesses submitted in any other way will be deemed invalid, as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion.
Entrant must answer a call live on air to win
Each entrant must nominate a personal contact number, either a personal mobile number or home phone number (and not a business number), to be eligible for the prize (Personal Contact Number) and grants the Promoter the right to call that entrant on their Personal Contact Number live on air.
Entrant/s and Contestant/s in the Promotion must be able to receive a phone call from a representative of the Promoter (on their Personal Contact Number) between the following timeframe (or such other time specified by the Promoter) and in accordance with the requirements outlined in the Entry Method: 6am (AEST) and 9am (AEST) on weekdays during the Promotion Period.
If the entrant/s or Contestant/s does not answer their phone by the time that phone goes to a message bank, the entrant/s or Contestant/s consent to the Promoter broadcasting that entrant/s or Contestant/s voicemail message including their full name and/or business name live on air. Each entrant/s or Contestant/s warrants that it has obtained all consents from third parties to broadcast live- air any information or names (including business names) in the entrant’s voicemail message.
