Who is running the competition?
The Promoter is Monster Energy AU Pty Ltd (ABN 84 132 571 638) of Unit 10c, 2 Daydream St, Warriewood NSW 2102.
When will the competition start and end?
The competition starts at 12.01am (AEST) on 05/09/2018 and ends at 11.59pm (AEST) on 02/10/2018 (the Competition Period).
Who can enter?
Entry is only open to Australian residents who are aged 18 years or over, excluding:
(a) management, employees, directors and contractors of the Promoter, its related bodies corporate, the participating Stores and other agencies, firms or companies associated with the competition (including suppliers of prizes);
(b) a spouse, de-facto spouse, parent, guardian, child or sibling of a person referred to in paragraph (a) above;
(c) persons who have won a prize or prizes valued either individually or collectively at more than $5,000 (including GST) in any competition or promotion run by or on behalf of the Promoter, within the 12 months prior to the commencement of the Competition Period;
(d) persons who have used or attempted to use any more than one name in order to qualify to win a competition or promotion run by or on behalf of the Promoter (except in the case of a legal change of name); and
(e) persons who have breached the terms and conditions of any competition or promotion run by or on behalf of the Promoter.
The persons referred to in paragraph (b) above include natural and non-natural relations (in the opinion of the Promoter) and the Promoter is responsible for determining whether a person is an eligible entrant in its absolute discretion.
Where will the competition run?
The competition will run in participating Woolworths Petrol Stations (Stores) in all Australian states and territories, excluding Northern Territory.
Do I need to buy anything to enter?
Yes. During the Competition Period, you need to buy any 2 x 500mL Monster Energy Drink products (all variants, excluding online purchases and vending machine purchases) in one transaction (Qualifying Purchase) from a Store and retain your receipt as proof of purchase. You will then be eligible to receive an entry card (subject to stocks remaining in that Store).
A receipt showing a Qualifying Purchase can only be used to receive 1 entry card and make 1 entry, regardless of how many Qualifying Purchases are shown on that receipt.
Entry instructions
After you have made a Qualifying Purchase, you must during the Competition Period send an SMS from your mobile phone to 1972 2733 (maximum cost 55 cents) stating in one message and in this order, the unique code on the entry card, your full name, your postcode and your email address (errors/omissions may be excepted in the Promoter’s discretion).
You will get a return SMS (at no additional cost to you) acknowledging your entry and informing you if you have provisionally won a prize and if so, details on how to validate your entry and claim the prize.
If you haven't won an instant win prize don't throw out your receipt or entry card because you will be entered automatically into the second chance draw.
How are instant win prizes awarded?
There are 28 instant win prizes to be awarded during the Competition Period; 1 per day. Each day of the Competition Period, a prize will be awarded based on a pre-determined time during that day selected by a computerised random system at Edge, Level 1, 500 Chapel Street, South Yarra, VIC Australia 3141 (Edge).
What can I win?
There are in total 28 prizes available; 1 to be won per day.
Each prize is a Playstation 4 Pro 1TB and Call of Duty Black Ops 4 bundle valued at $660.
For the avoidance of doubt, prizes will not be distributed until after the release date of Call of Duty Black Ops on 12/10/2018.
There is a limit of one prize per person (except for SA residents).
Total prize pool
The total prize pool is $18,480.
How many times can I enter?
You can enter multiple times, provided that each entry is based on a separate Qualifying Purchase, separate Qualifying Purchase transaction and separate entry card. A receipt showing a Qualifying Purchase can only be used to receive 1 entry card and make 1 entry, regardless of how many Qualifying Purchases are shown on that receipt. Each entry must be submitted separately in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
How and when will the winners be informed?
If you are a winner, you will be informed in writing by SMS and/or by email and your name and state/territory of residence will be published in at
www.monsterenergy.com (Website) on 03/10/2018 for a period of 28 days.
Second Chance Draw
If any instant win prize remains un-won at the end of the Competition Period, a second chance draw will be held at 12pm (AEST) on 04/10/2018 at Edge (Second Chance Draw). Each un-won prize will be distributed to the next valid entry randomly drawn until all un-won prizes are awarded. If you are a winner in the Second Chance Draw, you will be informed in writing by email and/or by SMS to the phone number you entered with and your name and state/territory of residence will be published on the Website for a period of 28 days.
The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries in the draw and record them in order, in case a winning entry/entrant is deemed invalid, or a prize is unclaimed (Reserve Entrants).
Must I keep anything to verify my entry?
You must keep the original itemised purchase receipt(s)/entry card(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. If you don't produce the proof of purchase for all entries when asked the Promoter may disqualify all of your entries and you will lose any right to a prize. Your purchase receipt must clearly identify the Store of purchase, the products purchased (which must comprise a Qualifying Purchase) and the date of purchase (which must be during the Competition Period before you submitted your entry). If, in the Promoter's opinion, you have forged or shared any receipt(s)/entry card(s) with another person, your entries will be invalid and you will lose any right to a prize.
If I win, when must I claim my prize?
You must claim your prize by 5pm (AEDT) on 04/01/2019.
What if I don't claim my prize on time?
If a prize (including any instant win prize awarded via the Second Chance Draw) has not been accepted or claimed by 5pm (AEDT) on 04/01/2019 or if, after making all reasonable attempts, the Promoter can't contact a winner (or a winner does not contact the Promoter) by this time and date, the relevant entry will be discarded and the Promoter will re-award the prize to Reserve Entrant/s and/or carry out an unclaimed prize draw at 12pm (AEDT) on 09/01/2019 at the same location as the original draw to distribute the relevant prize/s.
Any such winner/s will be informed in writing by email and/or by SMS to the phone number they entered with within two days of determination and their name and state/territory of residence will be published on the Website for a period of 28 days. Any such winner/s must claim their prize by 5pm (AEDT) on 18/01/2019.

Entry
2 You can only enter if you have an SMS compatible mobile phone connected to a service provider which permits text messaging to the competition SMS number. The SMS service provider is Edge. For SMS help only, call 1300 591 845.
3 Your entry must be received during the Competition Period. Your entry is deemed to be received only when received by the Promoter’s database. You will receive a return SMS (at no cost to you) confirming your entry into the competition and letting you know whether you have provisionally won an instant win prize and details of how to claim your prize. The Promoter is not liable for any problems with communications networks. You are responsible for your own costs associated with entering. If you enter using automatically generated entries or multiple phone numbers or aliases you may be disqualified. If there is a dispute about a prize being awarded to an SMS entrant, the Promoter may award the prize to the owner of the relevant mobile phone number.
4 Entry cards from any other competition cannot be used for this competition. Entry cards are void if forged, stolen or interfered with.
Prizes
5 Prizes are subject to the prize suppliers' conditions. If you win, you must arrange any desired data plans (where applicable) and pay all costs of using the prize.
General
6 If you are a winner, you must take part in all publicity, photography and other promotional activity as the Promoter requires, without any compensation. You consent to the Promoter using your name and image in any promotional or advertising activity.
7 If you or your entry are deemed by the Promoter to breach these Terms and Conditions, your entry (or at the Promoter's discretion, all of your entries) may be discarded. The Promoter may, at any time, require you to produce documentation to establish to the Promoter's satisfaction the validity of your entries (including documentation establishing your identity, age, place of residence and place of employment). Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not waive those rights.
8 You must not:
(a) tamper with the entry process;
(b) engage in any conduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the competition;
(c) act in a disruptive, annoying, threatening, abusive or harassing manner;
(d) do anything that may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related entities or of the agencies or companies associated with this competition;
(e) breach any law; or
(f) behave in a way that is otherwise inappropriate.
9 The Promoter is not liable for entries, prize claims or correspondence that are misplaced, misdirected, delayed, lost, incomplete, illegible or incorrectly submitted.
10 The Promoter’s decision in connection with all aspects of this competition is final.
11 Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged nor redeemed for cash. The prize values are correct as at the date of preparing these Terms and Conditions and include any applicable GST. The Promoter is not responsible for any change in prize value. You agree that if a prize (or element of a prize) is unavailable for any reason the Promoter may provide another item of equal or higher value, subject to any necessary approval by the state/territory gaming authorities.
12 By entering, you request that your full address not be published.
13 Printing and other quality control errors outside the Promoter’s control will not invalidate an otherwise valid instant win prize claim. Every instant win prize claim in excess of the advertised instant win prize pool will be honoured, unless the claim is rejected due to fraud or ineligibility under these Terms and Conditions.
