The Metropolitan Opera’s award-winning Live In HD series returns to Australian cinemas with a hugely anticipated new season this October, launching with Verdi’s legendary Aida.

Ethiopian Aida lives a life of slavery in Ancient Egypt, in this thirtieth anniversary production of Verdi’s epic and heart-stopping drama of war, passion and family. Superstar soprano Anna Netrebko is Aida, in her very first Met performance of the title role.
