Dance Australia, in association with Ballet Theatre of Queensland, has two double passes to give away to see The Sleeping Beauty at the Playhouse, QPAC, Brisbane. The production runs from Thursday 17 to Saturday 19 January, 2019.
An enchanting ballet based on the Charles Perrault classic fairy tale, The Sleeping Beauty draws on the traditional Marius Petipa choreography so familiar to ballet enthusiasts, framed by a glittering set, lavish costumes and spectacular lighting. This is an evening which will delight audiences of all ages.
Ballet Theatre of Queensland’s 82-year history reads like a who’s who of the Queensland's dance luminaries, and this production will again showcase 58 young dancers who are destined to have wonderful careers on the stage.
