Celebrating its 30th season in 2019, the Alliance Française French Film Festival is beloved by audiences throughout the country for its passion, scope, vitality and colour which encapsulates the very essence of Gallic culture.
An annual highlight on Australia’s ‘arts’ calendar, the Festival has emerged, over the last three decades, as the largest celebration of French cinema outside of France, a nation whose film industry is acknowledged as one of the world’s foremost. Each year’s line-up is a revelation and the 2019 programme which features 54 incredible films and documentaries, is a worthy tribute to the longevity and high standards that this event continues to meet and surpass with each passing year.
