BOARDRIDERS CLUB COMPETITION: WIN A TRIP TO THE QUIKSILVER PRO
Competition commences at 12.01am (AEDT) on 12.02.2019 and ends at 11.59pm (AEDT) on 20.03.2019 ("Competition Period").
Entry is open to residents of Australia and New Zealand who are over 16. Entrants under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian's permission before providing personal information. Employees of the Promoter and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents and the immediate family members of each are not eligible to participate in the competition. Proof of identity must be furnished upon request.
To be eligible to enter the competition, entrants must, during the Competition Period:
Be an existing member of the Boardriders Club Loyalty Program ("Boardriders Club") or become a member of Boardriders Club:
online, by submitting a Boardriders Club join form via
www.quiksilver.com.au/br_reward/membership/join or
www.quiksilver.co.nz/br_reward/membership/join ; or
in store at a Quiksilver or Boardriders store in Australia or New Zealand, by giving the cashier your details and asking them to sign you up as a member; and
complete a Competition entry form online at
www.quiksilver.com.au/brc-comp ("Entry" / "Entries").
One (1) winner will be selected from the Entries via a random electronic draw at 27 Baines Crescent, Torquay VIC 3228 on 21.03.2019 at 9am (AEDT) and prize awarded following winner validation and verification. The first Entry drawn will win a trip for two (2) people to the Quiksilver Pro at Snapper Rocks, Queensland, valued at up to $2,500 (depending on point of departure).
The prize includes:
Two (2) return economy airfares from the airport closest to the ordinary residential address of the winners (out of Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Darwin, Hobart, Cairns, Auckland or Christchurch) to the Gold Coast, Queensland. In the event that a winner's closest airport is Brisbane, the winner and their companion will not be eligible to receive the airfares (which may otherwise have formed part of the prize) and will be responsible for their own transport to Coolangatta.
Three (3) nights twin-share accommodation for two (2) people at Reflections, Coolangatta from 05.04.2019 to 07.04.2019;
Return airport transfers to and from the accommodation;
Two (2) passes to the VIP tent at the 2019 Quiksilver Pro on 05.04.2019 - 07.04.2019;
VIP treatment at the Drop Fest Coolangatta on 06.04.2019;
Priority entry to any Sponsor-related parties held during the prize window;
Lunch with surfing icon, Tom Carroll on 06.04.2019

"Prize".
Prize Conditions:
The Prize must be taken to coincide with the 2019 Quiksilver Pro, from 05.04.2019 to 08.04.2019. In the event that the winner is unable to travel during the stipulated period then they forfeit the travel component of the Prize.
The winner can nominate one person to accompany them on the Prize trip. In the event that the winner is under 18 years of age, the Prize will be awarded to the winner's parent or legal guardian and the person accompanying the winner on the Prize trip must be their parent or guardian.
The winner and their travel companion must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together. Travel arrangements to and from the winner's home and the departure point do not form part of the Prize and are the responsibility of the winner.
If the winner's closest airport is Brisbane, they will receive an additional $500 QUIKSILVER gift card in lieu of airfares.
The winner (and their travel companion) must satisfy the Promoter as to their health and fitness for travel. As a condition of accepting Prize, winner (and their travel companion) may be required to sign legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
In accepting the Prize, the winner and their travel companion agree, upon the reasonable request of the Promoter and without remuneration, to participate in all promotional activities relating to the competition including but not limited to being interviewed or photographed and consent to the Promoter and its related bodies corporate using their name and image in promotional material.
Flights are subject to the fare rules and General Conditions of Carriage of the relevant carrier. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. No changes can be made to travel arrangements once tickets have been issued. No frequent flyer/airline reward program points can be earned on the flights.
The Promoter is not responsible for any cancellation, delay or rescheduling of flights and any costs incurred as a result (including, without limitation, accommodation costs) will be the sole responsibility of the winner.
Any extension to the duration of the Prize is at the winner's sole expense and subject to availability at the time of booking.
The Prize does not include travel insurance, spending money, meals and beverages (unless specified), medical expenses, laundry, telephone calls, taxes not included in the price of the ticket, ground transportation and any other costs of a personal nature not stated. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered in the event that the 2019 Quiksilver Pro or Coolangatta Drop Festival are cancelled, postponed, rescheduled or relocated for any reason whatsoever.
A credit card imprint or cash deposit will be required from the Winner at check-in in order to check into the accommodation, for all incidental charges.
The winner will be notified via telephone and email within one (1) business day of the draw. The name of the winner will also be announced onwww.quiksilver.com.au and
www.quiksilver.co.nz on 21.03.2019 for a period of 28 days. All reasonable efforts will be taken to contact the winner. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for unread, undelivered or incorrectly provided email information. If the winner cannot be contacted and the Prize remains unclaimed at 8am (AEDT) on 25.03.2019 a redraw will take place (subject to any directions from a regulatory authority) at 27 Baines Crescent, Torquay VIC at 9am (AEDT) on 25.03.2019 and the winner will be notified by telephone within one (1) business day of the redraw . The original winner will have no claim to the Prize.
The draw result is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any variation in the Prize value. The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable nor can it be redeemed for cash. If the Prize or any element of the Prize becomes unavailable for any reason beyond Promoter's control then a similar prize or prize element of equal or greater value will be awarded to the winner in lieu, subject to the approval of the relevant regulatory authorities, if required. Without limiting the foregoing, the Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, substitute cash for any prize (the amount of cash being equal to the prize value specified in these terms and conditions).
If for any reason any aspect of this competition is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of war, terrorism, state of emergency, disaster, infection by computer virus, telephone network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, or invalidate any affected Entries, subject to the approval of the relevant authorities, if required.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of Entries and entrants (including an entrant's identity, age, place of residence and qualifying purchase if applicable) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardize the fair and proper conduct of the competition. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents), excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), which is suffered or sustained in connection with this competition or accepting or using the Prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law
By entering this competition, entrants consent to the storage of their personal information on the databases of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate and the Promoter and its related bodies corporate may use this information for future promotional and marketing purposes including contacting entrants via the contact details provided by the entrant. Entrants will be able to opt-out of receiving promotional and marketing material from the Promoter at any time by following the instructions included in each message sent by the Promoter. Without limiting the foregoing, Entrants' personal information provided in connection with this competition will be handled in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Statement which can be viewed at

As a condition of entry, all entrants agree to be bound by these official rules and by the decisions of the Promoter, which shall be final and binding in all matters relating to this competition.
