DAIKIN AUSTRALIA NSW WARATAHS JERSEY FATHER’S DAY FACEBOOK COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. The Entrant is responsible for his or her familiarity with the General Competition Entry Rules and any Special Competition Rules at the time of participation.
2. The Promotion is a game of skill, and chance plays no part in determining the winners.
3. Entry is open to residents in Australia only.
4. Entrants must be over 18 years of age.
5. To enter individuals must, during the competition period, “Like” the Daikin Australia Facebook page and the NSW Waratahs Facebook page, “Like” the NSW Waratahs Jersey Father’s Day competition post on the Daikin Australia Facebook page, and answer the following question: “What makes your dad the ultimate fan of the NSW Waratahs?”. Valid entries are to be posted in the comments section of the NSW Waratahs Jersey Father’s Day post, on the Daikin Australia Facebook page. The top 3 most creative entries will win 1 Signed NSW Waratahs Jersey. The 5 runner up entries will receive 1 Unsigned Waratahs Jersey. Judges decisions are final.
6. Competition commences Tuesday, 3:00pm on 13/08/2019 AEST. Entries close Sunday, 11:59pm on 25/08/2019 AEST.
7. The judging will take place on Monday 26th August 2019. Winners will be announced on Tuesday 27th August 2019 on the social media site Daikin Australia Facebook page. Judges decisions are final.
8. The competition host Daikin Australia Pty Limited has 3 Signed NSW Waratahs jerseys and 5 Unsigned NSW Waratahs jerseys. There will be a maximum of 8 possible winners. The top 3 most creative entries will win 1 Signed Waratahs Jersey each. The 5 runners up will receive 1 Unsigned Waratahs Jersey each.
9. Total prize value is AUD $2445 consisting of 3 Signed NSW Waratahs jerseys valued at $500 RRP for each jersey, and 5 Unsigned NSW Waratahs jerseys valued at $189 RRP for each jersey. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
10. Winners must provide a delivery address within 30 days of the prize draw. Should a delivery address not be provided within 30 days, the winner will immediately and effectively forfeit their prize without further notice from Daikin Australia Pty Limited. Should a prize winner wish to collect their prize from the Daikin Australia Pty Limited head office, they must do so within 30 days of the prize draw, during normal business hours only.
11. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by Daikin Australia Pty Limited, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
12. Prizes are generally sent to prize winners via Australia Post or private courier. Australia Post will be used for all PO Box addresses. Any loss of prizes by a courier company or Australia Post is not the responsibility of Daikin Australia Pty Limited. In that event, Daikin Australia Pty Limited may or may not in its absolute discretion, replace the prize.
13. Daikin Australia Pty Limited takes no responsibility for the loss of prizes due to incorrect or imprecise delivery details provided by the winner.
14. Daikin Australia Pty Limited shall not be liable for any loss of damage suffered or sustained (including but not limited to consequential loss), including personal injury or property damage suffered or sustained, as a result of accepting any prize or participation in any competition, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
15. In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders Daikin Australia Pty Limited from proceeding with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, Daikin Australia Pty Limited may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it on the same conditions at any time determined by Daikin Australia Pty Limited subject to any directions given under State Regulation.
16. Daikin Australia Pty Limited is not responsible for lost, interrupted communications or unavailable network server or other connections, failed telephone, mid delivery or computer transmissions or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical or electronic.
17. Subject to any written directions given under applicable law, if for any reason, the competition is not capable of operating as planned, including infection by computer viruses, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud or any other cases beyond the control of Daikin Australia Pty Limited which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the competition, then Daikin Australia Pty Limited reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
18. Daikin Australia Pty Limited reserves the right in its absolute discretion to disqualify any individual who Daikin Australia Pty Limited has reason to believe has (a) tampered with the entry process, including exceeding any limitation on the number of entries, or any other process as determined by the Daikin Australia Pty Limited, that in any way affects the fairness of the promotion; (b) tampered with the operation of the competition on the web site if hosted there; (c) acted in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner; or (d) if an entrant selected as winner is found to be in breach of any term of these General Competition Entry Rules, a new winner may be selected and, in the event that the entrant in breach has been awarded a prize, the entrant may be required to return the prize or reimburse the value of the prize to Daikin Australia Pty Limited.
19. In consideration for Daikin Australia Pty Limited awarding the prize to the winner, the winner hereby permits the winner’s words, as recorded, photographed, or filmed during the winner’s participation in the prize to appear in connection with Daikin Australia Pty Limited or the advertising or marketing thereof, in any media whatsoever throughout the world and the winner will not be entitled to any fee of such use.
20. Employees (and their immediate families) of Daikin Australia Pty Limited or the Waratahs Rugby Pty Limited are ineligible to enter. Agencies associated with the competition, dealers to whom Daikin products are sold are ineligible to enter.
21. The Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time without notice.
