Website Feedback Competition - Moreland City Council

By entering the City of Moreland’s 2020 Website Feedback Competition (“the Promotion”), you (“the Entrant”) agree to the following:
1. All information on ‘how to enter’ forms part of these Terms and Conditions. By entering into these Terms and Conditions each Entrant warrants that they have read, understood and agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.
2. The promoter is City of Moreland (ABN: 46 202 010 737) Locked Bag 10, Moreland, VIC, 3058, Australia.
3. The Promotion commences on Tuesday 15 September 2020 12:00pm AEST and closes on Monday 21 September 2020 9:00pm AEST (“The Promotion Period”). Any entry that is not received during the Promotion Period will be invalid.
4. The draw will take place on Monday 26 October 2020, 2:00pm AEDT.
5. The Promoter will randomly select one Entrant (“Winner”).
6. The Promoter will contact the winner by telephone (if available) and email to confirm the Entrant’s winning entry on Monday 26 October 2020.
7. The winners name will be published on the Moreland City Council website (
www.moreland.vic.gov.au) and the Moreland City Council Facebook page.
8. The winner will be sent their prize through email.
Eligibility
9. Entry is open to anyone living in Australia aged 18 or older. Entrants must be individuals and not companies or other entities. Employees of the promoter and immediate family members of the Promoter are not valid entrants in the Promotion.
10.One entry is allowed per entrant. Repeat entries will not be included in the random selection for the prize.
11.Incomplete, illegible, or incorrect entries, or entries containing offensive or defamatory comments or language, or which breach any law or infringe any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights, will not be eligible to win.
How to enter
12.Entrants must complete all required sections of the website feedback survey.
13.Entrants may only enter the promotion once.
14.Entrants must apply during the promotion period as detailed in these terms and conditions.
By entering the Promotion, the Entrant agrees and acknowledges that:
15.The promoter will collect the Entrants personal information, including the Entrant’s name, phone number, and email address for the Promoter’s promotional and publicity purposes. These personal details will be used in relation to this competition and publishing the winning Entrant on the Moreland City Council website (
www.moreland.vic.gov.au) and the Moreland City Council Facebook page. These details will be kept in accordance with the Moreland City Council Privacy Policy.
16. By entering the Promotion, the Entrant agrees that in the event that they are the Winner of the Promotion, they will receive communication from Moreland City Council. They will have to provide evidence that they live in Australia and are 18 years or older.
17.By entering the Promotion, the Entrant agrees that Moreland City Council may contact them for further feedback on the Moreland City Council website. The Entrant’s participation in this further feedback on the Moreland City Council website is optional.
18.By entering the Promotion, the Entrant acknowledges they understand that this promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. You understand that you are providing your information to Moreland City Council and not to Facebook. By participating in this promotion, you agree to a complete release of Facebook from any claims.
19.In the event that the Entrant is the Winner of the Promotion, the Entrant consents to the disclosure, publication, and dissemination of their name for the purposes of the Promotion (as the Winner of the Promotion).
20.The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries not received for any reason during the Promotion Period. No responsibility will be taken for lost, late, or misdirected entries. The promoter is not responsible for technical difficulties with the entry mechanism and does not warrant that the entry mechanism will be available at all times.
Prize details
There is one prize to be won and the Winner will receive this prize. The prize ($250 in value) is a voucher to local Moreland business Mr Kitly.
21.The prize value is correct at the date of printing.
22.The prize is not transferable or exchangeable.
Decision Final
23.In all matters, all decisions of Moreland City Council and staff will be final and cannot be contested. No correspondence or discussions will be entered into.
