ENTRY DETAILS AND CONDITIONS
The 2020 Win a Southdown Ram Competition is open from 1/9/2020 until midnight 11/10/2020.
Entry is via the digital competition entry form on the Southdown Australia website southdownaustralia.com.au. In addition to submitting the entry form, the entrant must ‘like’  the Southdown Australia Facebook page and comment 'DONE' on the competition post on that Facebook page in order for the entry to be valid.
Entrants must be residents of Australia. Members of Southdown Australia and their immediate family are not eligible to enter.
The prize valued at $1000  will be provided to the winner of the competition in the form of a voucher that can then be redeemed under the terms and conditions outlined below.
The winner will be drawn at 6pm on 12/10/20 at the residence of the Southdown Australia Competition Co-ordinator by the Competition Co-ordinator. The winner will be selected by chance from all the valid entries submitted.
The winner will be notified by phone and email on 12/10/2020. The winner must respond within 14 days of being notified of the result to claim the winning prize voucher. If the winner fails to respond within 14 days of being notified of the result, the prize will be forfeited and a re-draw will be conducted. Should the re-drawn prize not be claimed, there will be no further re-draw.
The name of the winner will be published on the Southdown Australia website, on the Southdown Australia Facebook page and in an email to Southdown Australia members. The winner must be available for a publicity photograph and short interview.
The winner may redeem the voucher under the following conditions:
- The voucher is valid for use towards the purchase of any one Southdown ram by the winner between 1/7/2020 and 30/6/2021.
- The winner must purchase the Southdown ram from a current Southdown Australia member stud (Southdown Australia member must be a current financial member as of 01/10/2020) and pay for the purchase of the Southdown ram in full.
- The Southdown ram may be purchased at auction or by private treaty.
- The Vendor and Purchaser (winner) of the ram must sign the voucher at the time of sale and the voucher must be returned to Southdown Australia by post (317 Bulart Bridge Road, Cavendish , Vic 3314) or by email (southdownaustraliainc@gmail.com) for redemption of the $1000 prize.
- Once returned, the winner will be reimbursed $1000 cash equivalent.
- Southdown Australia will forward the $1000 cash equivalent to the winner via the winner’s preferred method of payment (cheque or electronic funds transfer).
- The prize value of $1000 will be made irrespective of the actual value of the ram purchased.
- The winner must redeem the voucher by 30/6/2021 otherwise the voucher/prize will be forfeited.
