Stan has better movies than Netflix, so here’s a year’s worth from us.
The hill I choose to die on is built on a foundation of me firmly believing that Stan has a better movie selection than Netflix.
Both streaming services certainly have merit. Netflix exceeds in the TV series department, and it’s more user friendly, so kudos where they are due. Stan, however, edges in at number 1 when it comes to the streaming service with the better movies.
Stan has beloved cuts from all the staple directors, whether you’re in the mood for Scorsese magic with The Wolf of Wall Street, Hugo, or Raging Bull (dishonourable mention to Shutter Island, that movie sucks); Some Tarantino blood and guts with the Kill Bill films, Jackie Brown (his best in my humble opinion), Pulp Fiction or From Dusk Till Dawn; or a perfect-score-meets-perfect-cinematography ditty with a Paul Thomas Anderson creation like The Master, There Will Be Blood, Punch-Drunk Love or Hard Eight.
We’re so committed to our belief that Stan is the better choice for film-enthusiasts that we’re giving out a year-long subscription to the streaming service.
