ACADEMY Award winner Anthony Hopkins shines in new movie The Father.
Hopkins takes the role of mischievous and highly independent 80-year-old Anthony who, as he ages, refuses all assistance from his daughter Anne (Academy Award winner Olivia Colman).
This help becomes even more important following Anne's decision to move to Paris with her partner.
As Anthony tries to make sense of his changing circumstances, he begins to doubt his loved ones, his own mind and even the fabric of his reality.
Rufus Sewell (The Man in the High Castle), Imogen Poots (Green Room) and Mark Gatiss (Sherlock) also star, with a script by director Florian Zeller and Academy Award winner Christopher Hampton (Atonement).
The Father, in cinemas April 1.
