Information on how to enter and the prize(s) form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
The Promoter is Tyre and Auto Pty Ltd trading as mycar Tyre & Auto (ABN 57 164 707 484) (“mycar”) of Store Support Office, The Barwell Centre, Level 2, 7-9 Barwell Avenue, Castle Hill NSW 2154, telephone 02 9680 6500.
Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
Entries into the promotion open at 12.01am AEDT on 15/03/2021 and close at 11.59pm AEDT on 03/04/2021 (“Promotional Period”).
To be eligible to enter customers must, during the Promotional Period:
purchase a set of four (4) in stock participating tyres from any mycar store nationally or online at WWW.MYCAR.COM.AU
(“Qualifying Transaction”). Participating tyres are Continental, Goodyear Optilife, Pirelli and Kumho tyres that meet the manufacturer’s guidelines for the vehicle (all other brands of tyres are excluded); and then

For clarity, tyres must be purchased and fitted during the Promotional Period. A customer will be issued their purchase receipt or tax invoice after fitment and only then will they be awarded one (1) automatic entry into the relevant Daily Draw (as defined below) according to the day on which their tyres were fitted. Customers who make a Qualifying Transaction but, for any reason, are unable to have their tyres fitted during the Promotional Period, and/or any incomplete purchases, and/or any incomplete fitments will not qualify for an entry into this promotion.
Only one (1) entry is permitted per Qualifying Transaction (regardless of how many sets of 4 participating tyres are purchased in that transaction).
If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any customer who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
There will be one (1) draw conducted, for entries received to date, on each business day of the Promotional Period for a total of 17 draws (“Daily Draws”). For clarity, business day relates to the dates that mycar stores are open for business. mycar stores are not operational on Sundays or public holidays (including Good Friday) therefore fittings cannot be made on Sundays or on Friday 2nd April (Good Friday) and no draws will be conducted for these days during the Promotional Period. Subject to the starting and closing time of the Promotional Period, entries into each Daily Draw will open at 12am and close at 11.59pm each day based on NSW local time. Each Daily Draw will take place at Anisimoff Legal, Suite 5 Erina Plaza 210 Central Coast Highway Erina NSW 2250 at 10:30am AEST on the first business day after entries close for that Daily Draw, with the first Daily Draw taking place on 16/03/2021 and the last Daily Draw taking place on 06/04/2021. No draws will be conducted during the weekend or on a public holiday in NSW. Non-winning entries in each Daily Draw will be entered into any subsequent Daily Draw(s). The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn. Winners will be notified in writing by email within 2 business days of the relevant Daily Draw and also by phone.

The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The sole and exclusive remedy for any problems or dissatisfaction with the promotion is to cease participation in the promotion.
The first valid entry drawn in each Daily Draw will each win a $1,000 eftpos® prepaid gift card. Without limiting these Terms and Conditions, the following conditions apply to the eftpos® prepaid gift cards:
eftpos® prepaid gift cards are issued by EML Payment Solutions Limited ABN 30 131 436 532 AFSL 404131 (“Issuer”);
eftpos® prepaid gift cards are valid for use at any EFTPOS® terminal in Australia (at each merchant’s discretion) and require activation before use;
eftpos® prepaid gift cards must be activated within three (3) months of issue date located on the back of the gift card;
Activated eftpos® prepaid gift Cards are valid for twelve 12 months from date of issue on the card. Upon expiration, the gift card will not be available for use.
eftpos® prepaid gift cards are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed as cash;
any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the eftpos® prepaid gift card are not included. This may include, for example, any fees charged by merchants for using the card, or currency exchange fees;
the card is like cash and may not be replaced if misused, lost, stolen or damaged;
if for any reason a winner does not redeem the entire balance on the eftpos® gift card by its expiry, any remaining balance on the eftpos® gift card will be forfeited;
any unused balance on the eftpos® card will not be redeemed as cash; and
redemption of the eftpos® prepaid gift cards is subject to any terms and conditions of the Issuer including those specified on the eftpos® prepaid gift card website located at WWW.ACTIVATETHECARD.COM.AU.
Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not take and/or redeem a prize at or by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited.
If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
Total prize pool value is $17,000. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
A draw for any unclaimed prizes may take place on 06/07/2021 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Winners, if any, will be notified in writing by email within two (2) business days of the draw and their name will be published on the mycar website (WWW.MYCAR.COM.AU
) on 06/07/2021.
Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
