Bundaberg Rum/NRL Sports Bar Promotion
1. Information on how to enter and about prizes form part of these Terms and
Conditions. Participating in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these
Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry is only open to Australian residents who are aged 18 years or over and
are members of the Participating Venue (as defined below). Director, officers,
employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, the Participating
Venue (as defined below), and their agencies associated with this promotion
are ineligible to enter.
3. The promotion will take place at 24/7 Sports Bar, The Star Sydney, 80 Pyrmont
St, Pyrmont NSW 2009 (“Participating Venue”). The promotion will commence
at 00:01am local time and close at 10:59pm local time each Saturday from
03/04/2021 to 18/09/2021 inclusive (“Promotion Period”) or whilst stocks of entry
forms last.
4. To be eligible to enter the Promotion, entrants must, during the Promotion
Period, purchase any Bundaberg Rum product at the Participating Venue
("Qualifying Transaction"). Staff at the Sports Bar will distribute the entry form
with each Qualifying Transaction, on which entrants will complete their details
and place the form into an entry barrel at the Participating Venue during the
Promotion Period in order to enter. If an entrant does not receive an entry form
at the time of making a Qualifying Transaction it is their responsibility to
request one.
5. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time during or after the closing date of
the promotion to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who
tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in
accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Failure of the Promoter to
enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those
rights.
6. Multiple entries permitted, subject to the following: (a) limit of one (1) entry per
Qualifying Transaction; (b) a limit of one (1) entry per person per day; and (c)
each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with the entry
requirements.
7. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
8. Each Saturday during the Promotional Period the Participating Venue will
conduct five (5) prize draws at times advertised in the Participating Venue but
between 2:00pm and 11:00pm local time. On 26/06/2021 and 18/09/2021, all
entries received each Saturday prior to and inclusive of these two (2) dates will
be included in a major draw to take place in the Participating Venue,
immediately following Draw 5 on that same Saturday. Entries close for each
draw one (1) minute prior to the advertised draw time, and no later than
10:59pm local time. All winners must be present to claim their prize. The
Promoter reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to draw reserve entries
and record them in order in the case of an invalid or ineligible entrant. Each
prize must be claimed by the winner at the draw within five (5) minutes of
being announced. In the event the drawn winner is not present at the draw,
their entry will be invalidated and entries will continue to be drawn until a valid
winner is found and the prize is claimed. All non-winning entries in each draw
on each Saturday will be entered into subsequent draws for that same
Saturday but will NOT be entered into the draws on any subsequent
Saturdays. All entries, including minor prize winners, will be entered into the
major draws detailed below. All winners will be notified immediately in person
at the Participating Venue.
9. The first valid entry drawn in Draws 1 – 4 on each Saturday during the
Promotion Period will each win the prize of a Bundaberg Rum prize pack
consisting of a duffel bag, stubby holder and cap valued at $69.99 RRP.
10.The first valid entry drawn in Draw 5 on each Saturday during the Promotion
Period between 27/03/2021 and 26/06/2021 will win a double pass to the State
of Origin Game 3 on 14/07/2021, valued at $400. The first valid entry drawn in
Draw 5 on each Saturday during the Promotion Period between 03/07/2021
and 18/09/2021 will win a double pass to the NRL Grand Final on 03/10/2021,
valued at $300. Travel to and from each game will be at the winner’s expense.
11.The first valid entry drawn in the first major draw on 26/06/2021 will win a State
of Origin experience for 4 people valued at $3,500, including 4x Category 1
tickets to State of Origin Game 3 at Stadium Australia on 14/07/2021,
accommodation for 2 nights at The Star Grand, and car transfers to & from
The Star to SOO Game 3. The first valid entry drawn in the first major draw on
18/09/2021 will win a NRL Grand Final experience for 4 people valued at
$3,500, including 4x Category 1 tickets to NRL Grand Final on 03/10/2021 at
Stadium Australia, accommodation for 2 nights at The Star Grand, and car
transfers to & from The Star to NRL Grand Final.
12.The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
13.Total prize pool value is $23,478.96. Prizes are not transferable or
exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash unless otherwise specified.
14.Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or
voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or
recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without
remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any
outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or
supplied by the Promoter.
15.If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned
including (but not limited to) infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering,
unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, war, terrorism or any other
causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affect the
administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion,
the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entrant
who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or
suspend the promotion subject to any written directions of any regulatory
authority.
16.The prizes must be taken as stated. If for any reason a prize winner cannot
take a prize in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, including at the
time specified by the Promoter, the prize will be forfeited and will not be
redeemable for cash.
17.If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to
substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject
to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
18.Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports
to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided
under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied
warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the
States and Territories of Australia where it is illegal to do so (“Non-Excludable
Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including
the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective
officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for
any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity);
whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the
promotion.
19.Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the NonExcludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers,
employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability
(including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage
(including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or
consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or
equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any
theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize
claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after
their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable
control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these
Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f)
a prize.

21.The Promoter collects personal information ("PI") in order to conduct the
promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties,
including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize
suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is
conditional on providing this PI. The Promoter will also use and handle PI as
set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed

may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for an
indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for promotional,
