Mother’s Day FACEBOOK COMPETITION
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Information on how to enter forms part of these terms and conditions.
2. Entry is only open to residents of Australia. Employees of the Promoter
and their immediate families and retailers within Erina Fair Shopping Centre and the retailers’
employees and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
The competition period commences on Facebook at 10am on Friday 7 May 2021. Entries close
Sunday 9 May at 11.59pm.
3. To Win Mum the ultimate Shopping Spree
* Visit the Erina Fair Mother’s Day photo wall. Located on the Myer Red Carpet.
* Simply take a snap for mum or with mum
* upload on Facebook (in the relevant Facebook post) in the comments section on the Erina Fair
Facebook page.
* Submit your photo for your chance to WIN* a $200 Erina Fair Gift Card to spend in centre.
* Upon submission (in the comments section) your photo will judged by a panel to determine the
two best entries.
4. Two single entries will win this competition. The total prize pool is valued at $400. Each prize
winner will receive an Erina Fair $200 gift card.
5. The winners will be notified via message by 11am on Monday 10 May and the results
will be published at
www.facebook.com/erinafair by 5.30PM Monday 10 May.
6. The winners must claim their prize by attending the Erina Fair Customer Service Desk no later than
Monday 24 May 2021. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner.
Each entry will be individually judged based on creative merit. Judge’s decision is final, and no
correspondence will be entered. At the time of collecting the prize the winner will be required to
confirm their identity by producing such photo identification as may be directed by the Promoter.
7. The prize(s) is/are not redeemable for cash and cannot be transferred or exchanged.
8. Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify rights which you
may have under any law (including the Australian Consumer Law (“ACL”), and consumer
guarantees relating to goods or services under the ACL) which may not be excluded, restricted
or modified by agreement (‘Your Consumer Rights’). Subject to Your Consumer Rights, the
Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage however caused (including by negligence),
suffered or incurred in connection with the Promotion or the prize. Any condition or warranty
which would be implied by law into these terms and conditions is excluded.
9. Any prizes that have not been claimed by the Winner by Monday 24 May 2021
will be awarded to the next best eligible entry as determined by the judges.
10. All entries become the property of the Promoter. As detailed in the privacy statement which
accompanies these terms and conditions, all entries will be entered into a database and the
entrants’ names and addresses may be used for future promotional, marketing and publicity
purposes.
11. By entering the promotion you accept all conditions of entry including these terms and
conditions.
12. The Promoter may cancel the promotion and not award the prize(s) where circumstances
beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control prevent the Promoter from providing the prize(s).
Should the Promoter cancel the Promotion the Promoter will:
(I) advertise that the Promotion has been cancelled by placing a notice at the customer
service desk in the shopping centre.
(ii) promptly destroy all entries received; and
(iii) not use the personal information you have provided on the entry form.
13. Liability and release: The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever
which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any
personal injury, loss or damage suffered or sustained (even caused by negligence) in
connection with accepting or using a prize or participating in this Promotion, except for any
liability which cannot be excluded by law. The Promoter is not responsible for defective
prizes lost or stolen prizes or misuse of any prize. All entrants release from, and indemnify
the Promoter against, all liability, cost, loss, or expense arising out of acceptance of any
prize(s) or participation in this Promotion including (but not limited to) personal injury and
damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent
act or omission or otherwise.
