GloBird Energy’s “Quote to Win” competition commences at 9am Monday on 17 May 2021 and closes
30 June 2021 at 11.59pm.

It is a condition of entry that eligible entrants consent to receive GloBird communications and
marketing notifications and do not opt out during the competition period. Entrants can request for
their entry to be removed from the draw by contacting GloBird by email here:

This competition is only open to eligible individuals who:
● are a resident of Victoria or New South Wales;
● are aged eighteen (18) years or older;
● have provided their personal information and agreed to the terms of GloBird’s Privacy Policy;
● understand and agree to these competition Terms & Conditions;
● have obtained a valid quote for residential electricity or gas from GloBird Energy during the
competition period;
● have visited the Competition Website via Facebook Competition Advert, Instagram advert or
twitter advert and apply for and receive an eligible electricity quote from the Promoter
Entry
An entry to the draw is obtained via completing a valid quote for residential electricity or gas from
GloBird Energy during the competition period;
Number of draw entries
Eligible participants receive one entry into the draw for an eligible quote.
Eligible participants receive five entries if the quote is taken up and the customer also signs-up their
energy or gas account to GloBird Energy before the draw.
Signing up with GloBird may require ID check, credit check and other eligibility criteria.
An eligible entrant will only receive one entry for obtaining multiple energy quotes for the same or
different premises. For clarity this means an individual who gets multiple quotes will be considered as
a single eligible person and not receive multiple entries into the draw. When deciding what is an
individual, GloBird will look at unique identifiers including name, contact details, email, phone,
address, meter number, NMI or MIRN. GloBird will have the final say when deciding eligibility.
Excludes
Any employees, staff, contractors, channels, partners, or agents of GloBird or directly related party.
Directly related party means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or
stepchild, parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother,
sister, step-brother, step-sister.
Any customer who has an outstanding debt with GloBird more than 60 days overdue.
Entries must be received before 30th June, 2021, 11:59 pm. GloBird accepts no responsibility for late,
lost or misdirected entries.
Eligible Entrants must provide a valid mobile phone number, email address and site details.

Winners will be deemed as having received the prize when the item is shipped or dispatched to the
nominated address used in the energy quotation. GloBird Energy is not responsible for any damage
or loss during transport.
The Prize is to be used strictly in accordance with these Terms & Conditions (Prize).
The Prize is not transferable to any other account, person or party, and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Any prize item is provided in good faith and GloBird Energy accepts no liability or responsibility for
any issue caused by the use or misuse of the item including, faults, injury, damage or loss. Any issue,
questions, queries or problem relating the item including fault or warranty claim must be taken up
directly with the item manufacturer.
GloBird will notify the winners either by email, SMS, writing or by phone within one (1) day of the
draw. GloBird accepts no responsibility for failure to notify a winner if that winner is not reasonably
contactable. The prize must be claimed within three (3) days of the draw. In the event a draw prize
winner does not claim their prize within this timeframe, he/she will forfeit his/her right to the draw
prize, and the draw prize will then be awarded to the next valid draw entry, as determined by GloBird
Energy. In the event the reserve winners selected do not claim the draw prize within the timeframe
specified, the draw prize will not be awarded.
GloBird decision regarding the draw, determination of the winner and the conduct of the competition is
final and cannot be contested. No correspondence shall be entered into regarding the conduct of the
competition other than to refer to these terms and conditions.
The competition winners consent to GloBird using their name, suburb, image for publicity purposes
without any remuneration. GloBird may promote or announce details about the prize winner on social
media, on its website, or in any other media of its own choosing.
GloBird may terminate the competition early or vary any of these Terms and Conditions in accordance
with the Gambling Regulation Act 2003 (VIC), the Lottery and Gaming Act 1936 (SA), the Lotteries
and Art Unions Act 1901 (NSW) and the Lotteries and Art Unions Regulations 2014 (NSW) (as
applicable).
Winners accept all risks, responsibilities and restrictions associated with the acceptance and use of
the Prize by themselves and anyone else. To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither the
Promoter, nor any of their respective related bodies corporate or their respective officers, employees,
agents or contractors accepts or otherwise has any responsibility for any loss, damage, accident,
death or injury resulting from or arising out of or in any way connected with the Competition.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or
modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act
2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties or similar consumer protection laws in the relevant
State.
The Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage or expense that is suffered directly or indirectly in
connection with a Prize that is stolen, damaged or lost.
Entrants to the Competition are taken to accept and agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
