Britz Explore the Kimberley Competition
Terms and Conditions of Entry.
THE COMPETITION
1. “Britz Explore the Kimberley” is a competition that runs from 20
th May 2021 – 7
th July
2021.
2. Information on how to enter this competition and the prize form part of these Terms and
Conditions. Participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and
Conditions.
THE PROMOTER
3. “The Promoter” is Tourism Holdings Australia Pty Ltd. (Trading as Britz Rentals) Central

4. Tourism Holdings Australia Pty Ltd reserves the right to cancel the Competition at any
time and change these Terms and Conditions without prior notice to any participant, if this
is necessitated by unforeseen circumstances beyond Tourism Holdings Australia Pty Ltd’s
reasonable control.
ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRY
5. The competition is open to all permanent residents of Australia over 18 years of age but
the driver must be over 21 years of age with a full driver’s licence held for at least one (1)
year.
6. There is a limit of one (1) entry per person.
7. Employees and families of the Promoter or the prize suppliers or any of their agencies
associated with the Competition or Program are not eligible to enter. This includes a spouse,
de-facto spouse, parent, child or sibling (whether full, half, step or by adoption).
HOW TO ENTER
8. Entry to the competition is via the form located on
https://www.britz.com/au/en/getinspired/destination-australia/western-australia where entrants need to complete all
mandatory form fields to be eligible.
9. Entrants must provide the following personal details: first name, last name, email
address, phone number, state of where they live; and answer the travel question.
10. Upon entering the competition, entrants are consenting and opting-in to receive
marketing communications in the future from Tourism Holdings Limited and Tourism
Western Australia.
11. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and
entrants and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with
these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter
to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
12. Failure to comply with the above conditions or complete all fields required will deem the
entry invalid and no correspondence will be entered into.
THE PRIZE AND DETAILS OF PRIZE DRAW
13. There is one (1) prize to be won with a total value of up to AUD$6000 (including GST) per
prize. The winner will be chosen at random. The selected valid entry chosen from the
national entry pool will win a 10-day Australia Campervan holiday for up to 6 people in a
single Britz campervan with pick up in Darwin and drop off in Broome. The prize can be
redeemed for travel from 26th July 2021 – 26th July 2022 with the exception of 16th
September 2021 – 10th October 2021, 17th December 2021 – 31st January 2022, 9th April
2022- 26th April 2022 and 20th June 2022- 11th July 2022 where booking is not permitted.
The prize includes 10 days and 9 nights and includes the daily vehicle rate, the Inclusive
Pack, the One-Way Fee and the Broome branch fee. Vehicles are subject to availability.
14. It is the winner’s responsibility to make their own way to the thl Darwin branch and
from the thl Broome branch. This is a single event holiday and cannot be separated into
different holiday vacations or redeemed for cash. The winner will be required to present
their credit card upon checking in at Darwin.
15. This prize must be redeemed for travel between 26th July 2021 and 26th July 2022.
Availability of this prize cannot be guaranteed during peak periods such as school holidays
or special event periods and is subject to availability. These periods are defined as: 6th July
2021 – 26th July 2022 with the exception of 16th September 2021 – 10th October 2021,
17th December 2021 – 31st January 2022, 9th April 2022- 26th April 2022 and 20th June
2022- 11th July 2022. The prize-winner will be required to sign a liability waiver form to
accept the prize. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or
other issues that may exist in transit or at any destination.
16. The prize listed above is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize
and service providers and the winner(s) agree that The Promoter cannot be held liable for
any breaches of these Terms and Conditions. No element of the prize is transferable and no
element of the prize can be redeemed for cash. Winners of the prize should seek
independent financial advice about any tax implications that may arise from the prize
winnings.
17. In participating in the competition, the winners agree to participate and co-operate as
required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to
being interviewed, filmed for broadcast and photographed. The winners agree to grant the
Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all
media worldwide and the winner (and his/her companion) will not be entitled to any fee for
such use. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the
information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including
sending electronic messages to the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to opt out,
access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of
the Promoter.
18. Subject to the Terms and Conditions of the participating prize providers, if for any
reason the winner does not, once the prize has been booked, take the prize at the time
stipulated, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited and will not be
redeemable for cash.
WINNER
19. The Prize (as defined in 13.) will be awarded at random from entries submitted. The
winner will be notified by the Promoter via email.
20. The Promoter may select additional reserve entries in the case an invalid entry or
ineligible entrant is selected as a winner.
21. A selected winner has 5 business days to accept their Prize from the Promoter. In the
event that the selected winner is unable to accept the Prize, a new winner will be selected
as defined in 19.
