https://thegreatbuckethunt.com.au/With The Great Bucket Hunt, you’ll use the KFC App to find one of 750,000 virtual buckets randomly located across the country in populated areas and close to KFC stores.
when in populated areas or close proximity to a participating KFC store, use the map of Australia contained within the App to search for KFC bucket pins. Each bucket pin will correspond to an actual physical location in real life, which (if available) will be in close proximity to your current location and will appear at a specific location on the map before randomly reappearing at a different location on the map; and
Once you find a bucket pin, carefully and safely physically travel to the bucket pin location so that your mobile device’s GPS corresponds to that bucket pin's location on the map. You must arrive at the bucket pin location before time runs out and the bucket pin disappears from that location (reappearing at another location). Once the map recognises that you have reached a bucket pin location, a virtual bucket will be revealed in the App. You will then have the opportunity to spin the virtual bucket to see which prize you win. The prize will then be saved in your "Bucket Stash" in the App.

Entry
2 Your entry must be received during the Competition Period and will be deemed to be received only when received by the Promoter. You will receive a return message confirming your entry. The Promoter is not liable for any problems with communications networks. You are responsible for your own costs associated with entering. If you enter using automatically generated entries or multiple phone numbers/email addresses/addresses/aliases, you may be disqualified.
Prizes
3 Prizes and all elements of prizes must be taken as and when offered or will be forfeited, and if forfeited, the Promoter will not be liable. Prizes are subject to any additional terms and conditions imposed by the relevant supplier or the Promoter, including, as relevant:
(a) validity periods;
(b) booking and availability of flights, accommodation and events;
(c) conditions of travel and conditions of entry into any event venues (including behaviour requirements and applicable dress codes);
(d) conditions of ticket validity and any restrictions on ticket on-sale or transfer;
(e) travel dates and specified travel exclusion periods;
(f) any additional fees (payable by you) relating to changes made by you/your companions to a travel/event prize after it has been booked;
(g) a requirement to present your credit card when checking in to accommodation; and
(h) a requirement that any person taking an experience prize that is aged under 18 years old must be accompanied by their parent or guardian at all times.
4 The eftpos® gift card is subject to the following Terms and Conditions:
(a) eftpos® prepaid Gift Cards are issued by EML Payment Solutions LimitedABN 30 131 436 532 AFSL 404131 (Issuer) and distributed by Vault PaymentSolutions Group Pty Ltd, 66 632 373 105 at 31/367 Collins St, Melbourne VIC 3000. The promoter is (name of promoter, ACN/ABN and registered office details).
(b) eftpos® Gift Cards are valid for use at any EFTPOS terminal in Australia and require activation before use. The eftpos® Gift Card cannot be used to withdraw cash.
(c) eftpos® Gift Cards must be activated within 2 months of the issue date listed on your card.

The eftpos® Gift Card must be activated within 2 months of the date noted on the letter to the Eligible Claimant. Upon activation by the Eligible Claimant, the Eligible Claimant has 12 months to use up the total value of the eftpos® Gift Card. It is the Eligible Claimant’s responsibility to activate the eftpos® Gift Card in accordance with the terms and conditions set out by Vault Payment Solutions Group Pty Ltd available at vaultactivation.com.au/#/terms. 5 All ravel is subject to availability at all times and may be dependent on select seat class with airlines or specific room category availability with an accommodation partner. Travel is valid for set dates over the respective special event periods. All bookings must be made a minimum of 45 days in advance of requested departure dates. All bookings and documentation regarding the prize must be made via Free-2-Travel Holidays Pty Ltd or their agents. Redeeming the prize is conditional on acceptance of the terms and conditions of travel as detailed by Free-2-Travel Holidays Pty Ltd and the airline carriers in accordance with normal travel practices. No portion of the prize is redeemable for cash. The prize is non-refundable or transferable. In the event the winner is under the age of 18 years, they must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Winner is responsible for any amendment fees issued by airlines or suppliers once booking is confirmed and ticketed. Winner is responsible for any additional taxes and/or resort fees associated with the chosen accommodation, unless otherwise stated. 6 If you win an experience prize, you/your companions are responsible for all other unspecified costs related to the relevant prize, including meals, transport, insurance (including excesses), in-room charges, additional taxes, etc. Event tickets can only be used once and will be deemed invalid if copied. The Promoter does not control entry to the relevant event location. The winners must keep their tickets safe and the Promoter will not replace lost or stolen tickets.
7 The Promoter is not responsible for any dispute between you and any person with whom you choose to, or choose not to, share a prize.
8 The Promoter accepts no responsibility if one or more of the events or activities awarded as part of a prize are abandoned, called off or postponed for any reason. In that case you/your companions forfeit your entitlement to that event/activity. Similarly, while the Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to ensure the participation of any specified celebrity/ies, players or coaches in the prize elements, the Promoter and prize suppliers exclude, so far as legally permissible, all liability if for any reason the celebrity/ies, players or coaches do not attend the prize element/s due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and prize suppliers (e.g. illness).
Unless otherwise specified by the Promoter, you will not be given cash or any alternative prize as a substitute for this altered prize element.
9 If your prize is tickets to a Cricket Australia event:
(a) you consent to Cricket Australia using your name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter or Cricket Australia;
(b) Cricket Australia reserves the right in its absolute discretion to change or amend fixtures without notice. Neither the Promoter nor Cricket Australia accept responsibility for the cancellation or delay of any cricket match connected with this Promotion for any reason beyond the control of the Promoter or Cricket Australia; and
(c) by entering this promotion you agree to comply, and ensure that your companion complies, with the ticket conditions which accompany any tickets won in conjunction with the promotion. Entrants also agree to comply, and ensure that each subsequent ticket holder complies, with Cricket Australia’s 2021/22 Ticket and Entry Conditions (available at
www.cricket.com.au/tickets) supplemented by conditions of entry imposed by the venue operator.
The Promoter will provide every person attending the match as part of the promotion with a copy of Cricket Australia’s 2021/22 Ticket and Entry Conditions with delivery of the prize tickets.
General
10 Any failure by you or (where applicable) your companion/s to comply with the conditions imposed by the prize supplier(s) may result in the prize being cancelled or withdrawn without liability for the Promoter or the prize supplier(s).
11 If you or your entry are deemed by the Promoter to breach these Terms and Conditions including if the prize is on set dates and you are unable to take the prize on the relevant dates, your entry (or at the Promoter's discretion, all of your entries) may be discarded. The Promoter may, at any time, require you to produce documentation to establish to the Promoter's satisfaction the validity of your entries (including documentation establishing your identity, age, place of residence and place of employment). Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not waive those rights.
12 You must not:
(a) tamper with the entry process;
(b) engage in any conduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the competition;
(c) act in a disruptive, annoying, threatening, abusive or harassing manner;
(d) do anything that may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related entities or of the agencies or companies associated with this competition;
(e) breach any law; or
(f) behave in a way that is otherwise inappropriate.
13 Where companions can take the prize with you, you are responsible for your companion/s and the and the Promoter may disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this competition by, you or any or all of your companions if they breach these conditions, whether or not legally bound by them.
14 If you (or your companions, where applicable), in the opinion of the Promoter (and/or a medical professional, as relevant to the circumstances), are intoxicated, under the influence of alcohol or any other drug, behave aggressively or offensively, or behave in a manner which may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related entities or the agencies or companies associated with this competition, is contrary to law or is otherwise inappropriate, the Promoter may cancel the prize or restrict you (and your companions) from participating in any elements of the prize, at its discretion.
15 The Promoter is not liable for entries, prize claims or correspondence that are misplaced, misdirected, delayed, lost, incomplete, illegible or incorrectly submitted.
16 If any dispute arises between you and the Promoter concerning the conduct of this promotion or claiming a prize, the Promoter will take reasonable steps to consider your point of view, taking into account any facts or evidence you put forward, and to respond to it fairly within a reasonable time. In all other respects, the Promoter’s decision in connection with all aspects of this competition is final.
17 Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged nor (except for the major Golden Bucket prize of $50,000) be redeemed for cash. Without limiting any other term of these Terms and Conditions, all prizes (and elements of prizes) must be taken as and when specified, or will be forfeited with no replacement. The prize values are correct as at the date of preparing these Terms and Conditions and include any applicable GST. The Promoter is not responsible for any change in prize value. You agree that if a prize (or element of a prize) is unavailable for any reason the Promoter may provide another item of equal or higher value, subject to any necessary approval by the state/territory gaming authorities.
18 By entering, you request that your full address not be published.
19 Printing and other quality control errors outside the Promoter’s control will not invalidate another wise valid prize claim. Every instant win prize claim in excess of the advertised prize pool will be honoured, unless the claim is rejected due to fraud or ineligibility under these Terms and Conditions.
20 The Promoter may suspend or cease participation in the Promotion for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the restaurant, including safety or participation delays caused by disease, epidemic, pandemic. If this competition cannot run as planned for any reason beyond the Promoter's control, for example because of disease, epidemic, pandemic, war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster (including natural disaster), infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or any which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition or disqualify affected entries/entrants, subject to any necessary approval by the state/territory gaming authorities.
21 The Promoter is not responsible for any tax implications arising from you winning a prize. You should seek independent financial advice. If for GST purposes this competition results in any supply being made for non-monetary consideration, you must follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.
Liability
22 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions restricts, excludes or modifies any consumer rights under any statute including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
23 Subject to the previous paragraph, the Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with this competition are not liable (including in negligence) for any loss (including indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury (including allergies, skin conditions or other reactions, as relevant), illness or death suffered in connection with this competition or any prize, except for any liability which under statute cannot be excluded (in which case that liability is limited to the greatest extent allowed by law).
24 Without limiting the previous paragraph, the Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with this competition are not liable for any loss of, damage to or delay in delivery of prizes, or for any damage that occurs to displayed prize/s (where relevant). Unless otherwise specified, prize/s will only be delivered to addresses in Australia. Any cash prizes that will be transferred to a winner's bank account will only be transferred to an Australian bank account.
25 This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any social media platform, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. You provide your information to the Promoter and not to any social media platform. You completely release any relevant social media platforms from any and all liability.
