To celebrate Yamaha Day 2021, we are excited to announce our #UnitedByYamaha competition, providing fans of the Yamaha brand with an opportunity to show how they are United By Yamaha, and go into the running to win some great prizes.
Using a combination of words (25 or less) and photographs or video, tell us how you are #UnitedByYamaha when enjoying one or more of the products available from the huge Yamaha range.
To be in the running to win one of the three great prizes on offer, simply share your #UnitedByYamaha story by posting your video and/or photographs to your Instagram accounts with a caption of 25 words or less telling us why you are #UnitedByYamaha. Entry requirement - entrants must post a photo or video of Yamaha product and/or themself on social media (Instagram) including a caption in 25 words or less, explaining why “I am united by Yamaha" and include two hashtags #unitedbyyamaha #yamahaday2021. By entering into this competition, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
There are no restriction on the number of submissions by entrants, however, the number of entries an eligible entrant may post is on the provision each entry is different and only those posts that include a photo, 25 words or less caption with hashtags #unitedbyyamaha #yamahaday2021 will be eligible
This competition is open to Australian and New Zealand residents only and must be 16 years or older and runs independent of any other Yamaha branded competitions.
By entering this competition, entrants acknowledge that submitted photos, video and wordings are the entrant's original work. Yamaha reserves the right to moderate and remove any submissions deemed offensive or against Yamaha’s safety policies
The prizes are one (1) Yamaha RevStar RS702B electric Guitar valued at $1549.00AUD, one (1) ShopYamaha Gift Voucher for $500AUD, and one (1) Shop Yamaha Gift Voucher for $200AUD. Entrants can only win one prize and Yamaha reserves the right to withhold or reclaim any second or subsequent prize.
Competition starts Thursday 1 July 2021, with closing date for submissions and the competition will be 11:59pm AEST Sunday 15 August 2021 AEST. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted. Yamaha will not be held responsible for entries not received for whatever reason.
The winner will be judged by Yamaha based upon creative merit - one that revs the judges’ hearts the most and MUST contain a combination of photo or video, 25 words or less - including the hashtags #unitedbyyamaha #yamahaday2021. Judging will take place at 10:00am on Monday 16 August 2021 at 489-493 Victoria Street, Wetherill Park, NSW 2164, Australia. This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. All entries must be an independent creation by the entrant and free of any claims that they infringe any third-party rights. Entries must not have been published previously and/or have been used to win prizes in any other competitions.
The winner will be announced on the Yamaha’s Instagram page and the Yamaha website on Tuesday 17 August 2021 with the winner notified via their social media account within two (2) business days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within fourteen (14 ) business of notification, Yamaha reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and select a replacement winner. Any such redraw will be made from the remaining entrants and will take place at 10am on 1 September 2021 at 489-493 Victoria Street, Wetherill Park, NSW 2164, Australia. The name of any resulting winner and their State or Territory of residence will be published on the Yamaha’s Facebook and/or Instagram page and the Yamaha website. Any redraw prize winner will be notified within two (2) business days of the redraw via their social media
All entrants consent to their personal information being collected, stored, used and disclosed by Yamaha in accordance with its privacy policy (click here to view Yamaha’s Privacy Policy). Yamaha will use an entrant’s personal information both for the purposes set out in its privacy policy and for the purposes of this competition including using your information to contact you, issue a prize and sharing it with any third party for the purpose of administrating this competition. By entering this competition, all entrants consent to how Yamaha will handle and use their personal information.
the winner agrees that Yamaha may use of his/her name and image in any publicity material and grant Yamaha an exclusive, irrevocable, transferable, royalty-free license to use their name, character, photographs, and likeness in connection with the competition and expressly waive any claim to compensation for such use.
The prize or part thereof is not transferable and not redeemable for cash or other services
Yamaha’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into
Employees of Yamaha or their family members, subsidiaries, Yamaha dealerships, or any parties connected in any way with the competition or helping to set up the competition will not be eligible to enter the competition
Yamaha reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Yamaha’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by Yamaha.
This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Twitter or any other Social Network. All entrants are providing their information to Yamaha and not to any other party. By entering the competition entrants agree from time to time to receive promotional material from Yamaha.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales and entrants agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts in New South Wales.
Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions
Yamaha reserves the right to refuse awarding any prize to any entrant who Yamaha, at its absolute discretion, determines has:
breached these terms and conditions; or
does something to bring Yamaha or its related entities into disrepute; or
did not validly qualify to enter the competition; or
Fails to follow Yamaha or the Prize Provider reasonable instruction; or
In the event the prizes become unavailable for any reason beyond Yamaha control, Yamaha may, at is absolute discretion, substitute the prize for other prizes of equal or greater value.
