Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry. Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry. Only entries which are submitted and comply with these conditions of entry may take part in this competition.

The Promoter is Universal Pictures International Australasia Pty Ltd (A.B.N 44 122 951 099) of Level 32, 580 George Street, Sydney NSW 2000.

Entry is open to all permanent residents of Australia aged 15 years and above except employees of the Universal Pictures International Australasia Pty Ltd, its agents and the immediate family of those employees. Age restrictions will be stated in individual terms and conditions developed for each promotion during the period of these terms and conditions.

Competition starts at 10:00pm AEST on Thursday 22nd July 2021 and ends at 11:59am AEST on Wednesday 20th of October, 2021.

To enter, participants must go online and register all required details in order to submit a valid entry.

It is free to enter the competition, however, the cost of accessing the promotional website is dependent on the entrant’s individual service provider.

Incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.

Entrants are only eligible to win 1 prize in this promotion excluding SA residents who are eligible to win more than once.

A limit of one online entry per person applies.

There will be one thousand (1000) winners in total. Each winner will receive two (2) tickets to attend a preview screening of Dune in their state. The value per double pass is $40. Total Prize Value: $3,000.

The screenings will be held at a cinema in each city, stipulated by the Promoter at time of prize notification.

The winner and guest must make their own way to and from the events. If the event is cancelled, the winner will receive 2 double in-season passes to see Dune in cinemas.

Prize values are based on recommended retail prizes and are correct at the date of printing individual promotion terms and conditions (inclusive of GST). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any change in prize value between now and the ultimate date individual prizes are taken.

In the event that for any reason whatsoever the major prize winners do not or are not able to take the prizes at the time stipulated by the Promoter for any reason, including but not limited to COVID-19, the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize.

All entries must be received by 11:59am AEST on Wednesday 22nd September 2021. No entries will be accepted after the close date. Entries must be correct, complete and comprehensible. Entries become the property of the promoter and will not be returned.

The time of entry will in each case be the time the online entry is received by the Promoter’s database. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, or misdirected entries due to technical disruptions, network congestion or for any other reason.

The Prize Draw will be held on Thursday 23rd September 2021 at 09:00 AEST at Ansible Pty Ltd, Level 3, 100 Chalmers Street, Surry Hills NSW 2010.

Winners will be notified via email within two (2) business days of the draw and Winners’ details will be published on the Dune Lottery website from Monday 27th September 2021.

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time and at their discretion, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age, and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. If the winner, for any reason, does not take any element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the winner forfeits the prize, with no compensation or further liability of the Promoter.

Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. Winner(s) cannot change, vary, substitute or extend any element of the prize (in whole or in part).

Winners must provide their acceptance and confirmation including their companion’s name by 12:00PM AEST on Thursday 30th September 2021. If any Winners are unable to be contacted by this date/time, they will forfeit their prize and an unclaimed prize draw will take place to re-allocate their prize. If required, an unclaimed prize draw will take place at Ansible Pty Ltd, Level 3, 100 Chalmers Street, Surry Hills NSW 2010 at 12:00PM AEST on Thursday 30th September 2021. The unclaimed prize Winner will be notified of their prize by e-mail within two (2) business days and Winner’s details will be published on the Dune Lottery website from Monday 4th October.

The Promoter and its associated agencies, are not liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever (including, but not limited to, any direct, indirect or consequential loss) suffered or sustained in connection with this competition, the use of a prize or any act or omission (whether negligent or not) of the Promoter, its associated agencies or any person associated with any of them, except to the extent that any liability cannot be excluded by law.

If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.

In the case of the intervention of any outside agent or event which changes the result or prevents or hinders it's determination, including but not limited to vandalism, COVID-19, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strikes; the Promoter may in its discretion cancel the event and recommence it from the start on the same conditions subject to any government regulation.

The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of the prize, if the Promoter determines, in their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion

In accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Act) all entries become the property of the Promoter ("we/us") on receipt and we reserve the right to use any personal information provided by an entrant ("you") to enter you in the competition and conduct the competition in accordance with the Universal Pictures Privacy Policy found at https://www.nbcuniversal.com/privacy. Your personal information may be disclosed to a third party as a result of entering this competition, including but not limited to Ansible Pty Ltd. Your personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and Winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. For purposes of public statements and advertisements The Promoter will only publish the Winner’s surname, initial and State. If you do not provide us with all or part of the personal information requested we may not be able to enter you into the competition.
