Introducing ‘Velvet Rewired’. . . A glittering spectacle of circus, cabaret and disco led by the fearlessly fabulous Marcia Hines.
Since ‘Velvet’’s world premiere in 2015, this production has travelled the globe, resulting in thunderous applause and sold-out performances. Now, six years later, the disco-fuelled cabaret spectacular is back, hitting Brisbane as part of this year’s Wynnum Fringe.
The reinvented extension of the ‘Velvet’ journey continues to chart the progress of a young man, on his path of self-discovery. He returns to the club known as ‘Velvet’, again embraced by its inhabitants. ‘Velvet Rewired’ continues with its underlying theme of celebration, family and freedom.
