Springtime in Brisbane is pretty darn spectacular – the sun is shining, the temperature is just right and we have a bounty of local in-season produce to indulge in. The best way to celebrate the arrival of our favourite season is with a long lunch, right? Well, pals, Treasury Brisbane’s luxe overwater restaurant and bar Will & Flow is going to do you one better – it’s planning the longest lunch! On Saturday October 16, together with premium sparkling wine maker Chandon, the restaurant and bar will be hosting the first-ever Will & Flow Longest Lunch, showcasing the best of Queensland’s in-season seafood and produce. The lunch will see 200 diners take a seat at an impressive flower-laden and extremely ’grammable long table, stretching along the north bank Riverwalk adjacent to Will & Flow.
Over four glorious sun-kissed hours, guests will be treated to a delectable five-course lunch prepared by the Will & Flow culinary team, while Chandon Winemaking Director Dan Buckle guides them through the acclaimed Australian-crafted sparkling wine range. You can expect the likes of cured salmon with whipped citrus mascarpone, caper oil and crispy fried onion paired with Chandon Brut Rosé, corn-fed chicken breast with potato puree, roasted root vegetables and jus gras paired with Chandon Vintage Brut, and apple terrine with Chandon syrup and cinnamon mascarpone paired with Chandon Cuvée Riche. As the Will & Flow longest lunch comes to an end, guests will be invited to jump aboard a special bus to Treasury Brisbane, where they will be greeted with a complimentary glass of Chandon on arrival.
