By approving the Eligible Entity’s participation or by accepting any prize, the entity accepts these conditions.
   Who can't enter?
 Directors, officers, management and employees (and their immediate families) of:
(a) the Promoter;
(b) the agencies, companies or participating premises associated with this competition; and
(c) individuals (including sole traders) and entities (including incorporated associations, councils, partnerships) who are contracted to the Promoter to deliver services in connection with the Queensland container refund scheme (including container refund point, logistics and processing services providers).
Entrants and/or Scheme Id holders who are identified, or properly identified, as GST registered businesses on the Promoter’s database are ineligible to enter. This includes individuals who hold a Scheme Id on behalf of a GST registered business.
   Where will the competition run?
   The competition will run in participating Containers for Change depots, bag drops, reverse vending machines and pop-ups (Container Refund Point) in Queensland.
For Container Refund Point locations see
https://www.containersforchange.com.au/qld/where-to-return
  Website
getrecyclingrich.com.au
    Eligible Containers
  Used, empty beverage containers that are sold in Queensland for consumption after 1 November 2018 that are registered to the Queensland container refund scheme and which are assessed as eligible for a refund amount when presented to a Container Refund Point with regard to the Waste Reduction & Recycling Act 2011 (Qld) and any other applicable requirements.
Indicative examples of eligible containers are available here:
https://www.containersforchange.com.au/qld/ (click on the MORE ABOUT ELIGIBLE CONTAINERS button).
Not all containers are eligible. To find out if your container is registered to the Containers for Change scheme and potentially eligible, either download the Containers for Change QLD app to scan the barcode on your containers or enter the barcode at https://www.containersforchange.com.au/qld/how-it-works#workflow-96. Note a container can be registered but may not be accepted as eligible if, for example, a refund amount or recovery amount has already been paid for it.
      Entry instructions
   To enter as an individual, you must, during the Competition Period:
(a) return 50 or more Eligible Containers, all at the same time, at any Container Refund Point to earn a refund (10c for every Eligible Container), enter your Scheme Id (if you have one) and collect your refund receipt; and
(b) then visit the Website, locate the entry page and fill out and submit the online entry form, including by uploading an image of the refund receipt, indicating if your refund was done using Scheme Id, your contact details and providing all other requested information to see if you have provisionally won an instant prize and to receive 1 entry into the major draw (as well as any Additional or Double Entries as set out below).
Your refund receipt must clearly identify where the refund was issued, the refund amount (which must indicate a refund for at least 50 Eligible Containers) and the date of refund (which must be during the Competition Period before you submitted your entry) and if the refund was done via Scheme Id.
You can choose to donate your refund to an Eligible Entity at the time of returning your Eligible Containers at a Container Refund Point. If you donate your refund to an Eligible Entity you must enter the Eligible Entity's Scheme Id in step (a) above, and the Eligible Entity will be able to use that refund receipt to enter this competition (for the Eligible Entity).
For the avoidance of doubt, if you choose to donate your refund to an Eligible Entity, you:
• cannot use the receipt for that refund for your own personal entry, and any entry that is made with such a refund receipt for personal entry will be deemed invalid; and
• you relinquish your entitlement to use that refund for your own personal entry into this competition (and any applicable Additional or Double Entries) and any entitlement to a prize, even if the Eligible Entity does not use the refund receipt to enter this competition.
To enter for an Eligible Entity, an authorised representative for an Eligible Entity must, during the Competition Period:
(c) either:
i. return 50 or more Eligible Containers, all at the same time, at any Container Refund Point to earn a refund and enter the Eligible Entity's Scheme Id; or
ii. receive a Scheme Id refund receipt for a donation made (during the Competition Period) to the Eligible Entity by an individual;
and
(d) then visit the Website, locate the entry page and fill out and submit the online entry form, including by uploading an image of the Scheme Id refund receipt, contact details and providing all other requested information to see if the Eligible Entity has provisionally won an instant prize and to receive 1 entry into the major draw (as well as any Additional or Double Entries as set out below).
The Promoter is not responsible if your mobile device/desktop is not sufficiently capable for the purpose of submitting an entry.
   Additional Entries
   If you return (or your receipt shows a return of) 50 – 99 Eligible Containers, you will receive 1 entry as per the Entry Instructions above.
Additional entries are available if 100 or more Eligible Containers are returned (at the same time), as follows:
• 100-149 Eligible Containers – 1 additional entry (total 2 entries)
• 150-199 Eligible Containers – 2 additional entries (total 3 entries)
• 200-249 Eligible Containers – 3 additional entries (total 4 entries)
• 250 or more Eligible Containers – 4 additional entries (total 5 entries)
These Additional Entries give you (or an Eligible Entity, where relevant) another chance to win instantly and another chance in the major prize draw.
Max 5 Additional entries per day, subject to any Double Entries you may be eligible for – see 'Double Entries' section below.
 Double Entries If you have indicated on the entry form that you returned your Eligible Containers using your Scheme Id (or an Eligible Entity's Scheme Id), your entries (or Eligible Entity's
entries, as applicable) including any Additional Entries received will be doubled.
 How are instant win prize/s awarded?
There are 200 instant win prizes to be awarded based on pre-determined times during the Competition Period selected by a computerised random system at Peazie, Level 4, 152 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne Vic 3000.
   How will the major prize winner be chosen?
  There will be 1 major prize winner determined in respect of this competition. There will be 1 major prize draw conducted.
The draw will be held at 12pm (AEST) on 03/06/2022 at Handling Matters, Unit 40/1-5 Thew Parade, Cromer NSW 2099.
The first valid entry drawn randomly from the entries received during the Competition Period (including instant win prize winning entries) will win the major prize.
The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries in a draw and record them in order, in case a winning entry/entrant is deemed invalid or a prize is unclaimed (Reserve Entrants).
   What can I win?
  There are up to 201 prizes available – 200 instant win prizes and 1 major prize. Each instant win prize is $1,000.
The major prize is $50,000.
All prizes will be transferred to the winner's nominated bank account (or Eligible Entity's bank account), once the Promoter has validated the winner's entry. By accepting any prize, an Eligible Entity accepts these Terms and Conditions.
   Total prize pool
   The instant win prize pool is $200,000. The major prize pool is $50,000.
The overall total prize pool is $250,000.
 How many times can I enter?
You can only enter once per day, subject to Additional Entries and Double Entries being awarded, as outlined above. Each entry must be submitted separately in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
   How and when will the winner/s be informed?
   Instant win prizes
You will be notified on screen at the time of entering if you have provisionally won an instant prize and if so, an email will be sent to you with details on how to verify your entry and claim your prize.
Major prize
The major prize winner will be notified by phone and email within two business days of determination.
   Proof of refund
  You must keep the following as proof of refund for all entries: • original refund receipt(s).
If you don't produce the above proof of refund for all entries when asked the Promoter may disqualify all of your entries and you will lose any right to a prize.
Proof of refund must be identical to that provided by you with your entry.
If, in the Promoter's opinion, you have shared any proof of refund with another person, or used the same refund receipt, your entry/ies will be invalid and you will lose any right to a prize.
   Unclaimed prize/s
  Prize claim date for all prizes: 5pm (AEST) on 14/06/2022.
Unclaimed and un-won prize determination: 12pm (AEST) on 15/06/2022 at the same
location as the major draw.
If any prize (instant win or the major prize) is unclaimed or un-won during the Competition Period or has not been accepted or claimed by the prize claim date above or if, after making all reasonable attempts, the Promoter can't contact a winner (or a winner does not contact the Promoter) by the prize claim date above, the relevant entry/ies will be discarded and the Promoter will re-award the relevant prize/s to Reserve Entrant/s (in the case of the major prize) and/or carry out an unclaimed and un-won prize draw at the date, time and place stated above to randomly distribute the prize/s in descending order of value amongst valid entrants who (if possible) have not already won an unclaimed or un- won prize. Any winner/s will be informed by phone and in writing within two business days of determination and will have two weeks to claim their prize, otherwise the prize will be forfeited.

Entry
2 Your entry must be received during the Competition Period and will be deemed to be received only when received by the Promoter. Submitted entry forms are the Promoter's property. The Promoter is not liable for any problems with communications networks. You are responsible for your own costs associated with entering. If you enter using automatically generated entries or multiple phone numbers/email addresses/addresses/aliases, you may be disqualified.
Prizes
3 Prize/s and all elements of prize/s must be taken as and when offered or will be forfeited, and if forfeited, the Promoter will not be liable.
4 The Promoter is not responsible for any dispute between you and any person with whom you choose to, or choose not to, share a prize.
General
5 Any failure by you to comply with the conditions imposed by the Promoter and the prize supplier(s) may result in the prize being cancelled or withdrawn without liability for the Promoter or the prize supplier(s).
6 As a condition of accepting a prize, the Promoter may require the winner (or the winner’s parent/guardian if a minor or authorised representative of an Eligible Entity), to sign legal documentation as and in the form determined by the Promoter. This may include a legal release or indemnity form. If such documents are not signed, the relevant entry will be deemed invalid and you/Eligible Entity (as relevant) will lose any entitlement to a prize.
7 If you or your entry are deemed by the Promoter to breach these Terms and Conditions, your entry (or at the Promoter's discretion, all of your entries) may be discarded. The Promoter may, at any time, require you to produce documentation to establish to the Promoter's satisfaction the validity of your entries (including documentation establishing your identity, age, place of residence and place of employment). Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not waive those rights.
8 You must not:
(a) tamper with the entry process;
(b) engage in any conduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the competition;
(c) act in a disruptive, annoying, threatening, abusive or harassing manner;
(d) do anything that may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related entities or of the agencies or companies associated with this competition;
(e) breach any law; or
(f) behave in a way that is otherwise inappropriate.
9 If companion/s can take the prize with you, you are responsible for your companion/s and the Promoter may disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this competition by, you or any or all of your companion/s if they breach these conditions, whether or not legally bound by them.
10 If you (or your companion/s, if applicable), in the opinion of the Promoter (and/or a medical professional, as relevant to the circumstances), are intoxicated, under the influence of alcohol or any other drug, behave aggressively or offensively, or behave in a manner which may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related entities or the agencies or companies associated with this competition, is contrary to law or is otherwise inappropriate, the Promoter may cancel the prize or restrict you (and your companion/s) from participating in any elements of the prize, at its discretion.
11 The Promoter is not liable for entries, prize claims or correspondence that are misplaced, misdirected, delayed, lost, incomplete, illegible or incorrectly submitted including failure of any third parties to forward entry forms for inclusion in the draw, where relevant.
12 If any dispute arises between you and the Promoter concerning the conduct of this competition or claiming a prize, the Promoter will take reasonable steps to consider your point of view, taking into account any facts or evidence you put forward, and to respond to it fairly within a reasonable time. In all other respects, the Promoter’s decision in connection with all aspects of this competition is final.
13 Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged nor (except where cash is specified) redeemed for cash. Without limiting any other term of these Terms and Conditions, all prizes (and elements of prizes) must be taken as and when specified, or will be forfeited with no replacement. The prize values are correct as at the date of preparing these Terms and Conditions and include any applicable GST. The Promoter is not responsible for any change in prize value. 15 Where relevant for instant win promotions, printing and other quality control errors outside the Promoter’s control will not invalidate an otherwise valid prize claim. Every instant win prize claim in excess of the advertised prize pool will be honoured, unless the claim is rejected due to fraud or ineligibility under these Terms and Conditions.
16 If this competition cannot run as planned for any reason beyond the Promoter's control, for example due to software, hardware or communications issues, unauthorised intervention, tampering, fraud or technical failure, government directives, pandemic, public health orders and the like, the Promoter may end, change, suspend or cancel the competition or disqualify affected entries/entrants, subject to any necessary approval by the state/territory gaming authorities.
17 The Promoter is not responsible for any tax implications arising from you winning a prize. You should seek independent financial advice. If for GST purposes this competition results in any supply being made for non-monetary consideration, you must follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.
Liability
18 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions restricts, excludes or modifies any consumer rights under any statute including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
19 Subject to the previous paragraph, the Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with this competition are not liable (including in negligence) for any loss (including indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury (including allergies, skin conditions or other reactions, as relevant), illness or death suffered in connection with this competition or any prize, except for any liability which under statute cannot be excluded (in which case that liability is limited to the greatest extent allowed by law).
20 Without limiting the previous paragraph, the Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with this competition are not liable for any loss of, damage to or delay in delivery of prize/s, or for any damage that occurs to displayed prize/s (where relevant).
