After another year like no other it was a relief to see Australia open up this summer.

But LGA boundaries and state divides meant many of us were separated from our loved ones, and 2021 was spent dreaming of brighter horizons and memories made beyond our own backyards and balconies.

While these holidays weren’t the stress-free break we expected, for the lucky ones it was a time of reunion – with the faces and places we love.

Entries open 07 January 2022 and close Tuesday 2 February  2022 for residents of Australia in NSW, QLD, VIC, SA, TAS, NT. To enter the competition, post your best travel photo from the holidays on Instagram, using the hashtags #escapesnaps and #gotogether. Entrants must also tag and follow @escape.com.au to be eligible. Winners will be judged on the most creative execution. Winners determined by Escape marketing team at 2 Holt St Surry Hills. Winners’ names will be published after 2 February 2022 one escape.com.au. Total prize pool valued at $1000, made up of 1x $1000 prepaid travel gift cards. Prepaid gift cards are subject to their own terms and conditions. Entrants confirm that they own copyright in the image and words submitted as their entry and have the consent of any persons included in the photos submitted that their image can be used as contemplated in these terms. Each entrant gives Escape the right to reproduce the words and image submitted by them for marketing and editorial purposes, for example on the Escape Instagram or Facebook account.
