See the entire Corleone saga with screenings of The Godfather Part II on March 4 and 6 and The Godfather Part III: Coda – The Death of Michael Corleone on March 11 and 13. The restoration of all three films in The Godfather trilogy involved a painstaking process that took place over the course of three years that included:
Over 300 cartons of film being scrutinised to find the best possible resolution for every frame of all three films.
Over 4,000 hours spent repairing film stains, tears, and other anomalies in the negatives.
Over 1,000 hours spent on rigorous colour correction to ensure the high dynamic range tools were respectful of the original vision of Coppola and cinematographer Gordon Willis.
