IMPORTANT PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

This morning I’ve made the decision that Council will cover motorists’ costs on Council-controlled Brisbane toll roads.

This includes the Clem 7, Legacy Way, and the Go Between bridge.

This will continue until at least Sunday

I have made this decision due to serious and ongoing issues with the Inner City Bypass and Milton Road caused by the floods.

This will not resolve congestion and we encourage people to avoid unnecessary travel through this area.

UPDATE: I’ve just heard from the State Government that Airport Link will also be free for motorists.
