Who can enter? Only Australian residents.
If you are under 18, you must get approval from your parent/guardian before you enter and if you will be under 18 on the date the prize is awarded, it will be awarded to your parent or guardian. By approving your participation or by accepting any prize on your behalf, your parent or guardian accepts these conditions.
Who can’t enter? Directors, officers, management and employees (and their immediate families) of:
(a) the Promoter; and
(b) the agencies, companies or participating premises associated with this competition.
Where will the competition run? The competition will run in the Melbourne CBD area where promotional material appears (Melbourne).
Football/s 50 AFL Footballs will appear around Melbourne in different locations with promotional material relating to this competition, in the following forms:
as a dramatised AFL Football; and
as a decal featuring an AFL Football.
A map of all Football locations can be found at melbfootygrab.com.au (the Website).
Entry instructions You must, during the Competition Period:
(a) search for Footballs around Melbourne and once you locate a Football, scan the QR code with your smartphone to ‘collect’ that Football; and
(b)
(i) if you have not already created an account, follow the instructions to create an account for you to collect Footballs by providing all requested information;
or
(ii) if you already have an account, login to your account;
to see if you have provisionally won an instant prize and if so, which instant prize you have won.
If you collect 40 Footballs from different locations around Melbourne, you will also be entered into the major prize draw.
If you collect all 50 Footballs from the 50 different locations around Melbourne, you will also be entered into the grand prize draw.
You may also be eligible for a collection prize as outlined in the ‘What can I win?’ section below.
For the avoidance of doubt, you can only collect a Football from each different location once.
Golden Footballs
On each Saturday during the Competition Period, the Herald Sun newspaper will print a cryptic clue within the newspaper telling you where to find a Golden Football. These Golden Footballs will be available between 5am and 10pm (AEDT) on that day. If you are one of the first five entrants to locate and scan to collect a Golden Football on each Saturday during the Competition Period, you will receive an entry into the grand prize draw (regardless of the number of Footballs you have collected). Participants must ensure they have registered into the Great Melbourne Footy Grab Promotion to be eligible.
For the avoidance of doubt, cryptic clues will not be available in the online version of the Herald Sun newspaper.
Nova Footballs
Between 07/03/2022 and 11/03/2022 during the Nova FM morning show (6-9am):
(a) you must listen out for the Nova radio Golden Football on-air competition and when instructed, call the Nova FM phone number: 13 24 10; and
(b) if you are selected as one of two callers, you must provide all requested information to be represented in an on-air game by either Chrissie Swan or Jonathan Brown. Chrissie Swan and Jonathan Brown will then go head-to-head in a game where the first person to find a Golden Football in a large vessel will be the winner. The caller who is represented by the winner will receive an entry into the grand prize draw (regardless of the number of Footballs they have collected).
If you are the winner of the game, you must create an account in accordance with (b)(i) above to record your grand prize draw entry.
The Promoter is not responsible if your mobile device/desktop is not sufficiently capable for the purpose of submitting an entry or collecting a Football, including having the requisite camera capability to scan QR codes.
How are instant win prizes awarded? There are up to 17,110 instant win prizes to be awarded randomly during the Competition Period selected by a computerised random system at Mobidiction, Level 12/22 Market Street, Sydney NSW 2000.
How many drawn winners will there be and how will they be chosen? There will be 24 prize winners drawn from the pool of Eligible Entries (as relevant to each draw) – 23 major prize winners and 1 grand prize winner.
There will be 2 draws conducted – 1 major prize draw and 1 grand prize draw.
To be eligible for an entry into the major prize draw you will need to have collected (in the account you created on the first collection) 40 or more Footballs during the Competition Period. To be eligible for an entry into the grand prize draw you will need to have collected (in the account you created on the first collection) all 50 Footballs or have found a Golden Football during the Competition Period (Eligible Entries).
The major and grand prize draws will be held on 08/04/2022 at Gadens Lawyers, Level 13, 447 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 commencing at 12pm (AEST).The first 23 valid entries drawn randomly in the major prize draw from the relevant Eligible Entries will win a major prize in the order of descending value.
The first valid entry drawn randomly in the grand prize draw from the relevant Eligible Entries will win the grand prize.
The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries in a draw and record them in order, in case a winning entry/entrant is deemed invalid or a prize is unclaimed (Reserve Entrants).

2x 2022 Toyota AFL Preliminary Finals tickets The prize is two adult tickets to 2022 Toyota AFL Finals Series: Preliminary tickets in Medallion Club on a date to be determined by the Promoter, which includes premium dining and a Money Can’t Buy Game Day Experience.
Tickets will be Category 1 or 2, subject to availability and location that the 2022 Preliminary Final is being held. The Money Can’t Buy Experience will be determined by AFL prior to the final being held.

Transport to and from the event is the responsibility of the winner and their companion.

Ticket category will depend on availability & location of the Grand Final. Dining location and post-match event will be determined by the AFL.

Grand prize The grand prize is a 2022 Corolla Ascent Sport Hybrid (with navigation), with a recommended drive away price of approximately $32,010. Toyota Motor Corporation Australian (TMCA) reserves the right to extend or amend the offer at any stage. New Vehicle drive away price disclaimer: Recommended drive away price (RDP) shown is applicable for only at participating dealers. RDP includes 12 months registration, 12 months compulsory third party insurance (CTP), maximum dealer delivery charge [and] stamp duty. The prize does not include comprehensive insurance. If you are the winner, you must attend the dealership nominated by the Promoter to collect it. Major and grand prize winners will be notified by email within two days of determination and will have their name and state/territory of residence published on the Website on 11/04/2022 for a period of 28 days.
Unclaimed prize/s Instant win and collection prizes
Before the end of the Competition Period, you must follow the instructions provided by the Promoter to claim your instant prize and/or collection prize. If you fail to do so, the prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will withdraw the prize as unawarded.
Major and grand prize claim date: 5pm (AEST) on 30/06/2022. Unclaimed major and grand prize determinations: 12pm (AEST) on 01/07/2022 at the same location as the original draws.
If a major or grand prize has not been accepted or claimed by the prize claim date above or if, after making all reasonable attempts, the Promoter can’t contact a major or grand winner (or a major or grand winner does not contact the Promoter) by the prize claim date above, the relevant entry/ies will be discarded and the Promoter will re-award the relevant prize/s to Reserve Entrant/s and/or carry out an unclaimed major and/or grand prize draw (as relevant) at the date, time and place stated above to randomly distribute the prize/s in descending order of value.

1 These Terms and Conditions incorporate and must be read together with the details outlined in the table above. Information about prizes and how to enter forms part of these Terms and Conditions. By entering, you accept these Terms and Conditions.
Entry
2 Your entry must be received during the Competition Period and will be deemed to be received only when received by the Promoter. You will receive a return message confirming your entry. The Promoter is not liable for any problems with communications networks. You are responsible for your own costs associated with entering. If you enter using automatically generated entries or multiple phone numbers/email addresses/addresses/aliases, you may be disqualified.
Prizes
3 Prizes and all elements of prizes must be taken as and when offered or will be forfeited, and if forfeited, the Promoter will not be liable. Prizes are subject to any additional terms and conditions imposed by the relevant supplier or the Promoter, including, as relevant:
(a) validity period/s;
(b) booking and availability of events;
(c) conditions of entry into any event venues (including behaviour requirements and applicable dress codes);
(d) conditions of ticket validity and any restrictions on ticket on-sale or transfer; and
(e) a requirement that any person taking a prize that is aged under 18 years old must be accompanied by their parent or guardian at all times.
4 Where relevant, you/your companion are responsible for all other unspecified costs related to a prize, including any meals, transport, accommodation, insurance (including excesses), in-room charges, additional taxes, etc. Event tickets can only be used once and will be deemed invalid if copied. The Promoter does not control entry to any event location. Winner/s must keep their tickets safe and the Promoter will not replace lost or stolen tickets.
5 The Promoter is not responsible for any dispute between you and any person with whom you choose to, or choose not to, share a prize.
6 Where relevant, the Promoter accepts no responsibility if one or more of the events or activities awarded as part of the prize are abandoned, called off or postponed for any reason. In that case you/your companion/s forfeit your entitlement to that event/activity. Unless otherwise specified by the Promoter, you will not be given cash or any alternative prize as a substitute for this altered prize element.
General
7 Any failure by you or (if applicable) your companion to comply with the conditions imposed by the prize supplier(s) may result in the prize being cancelled or withdrawn without liability for the Promoter or the prize supplier(s).
8 If you or your entry are deemed by the Promoter to breach these Terms and Conditions including if your prize is on set dates and you are unable to take the prize on the relevant date/s, your entry (or at the Promoter’s discretion, all of your entries) may be discarded. The Promoter may, at any time, require you to produce documentation to establish to the Promoter’s satisfaction the validity of your entries (including documentation establishing your identity, age, place of residence and place of employment). Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not waive those rights.
9 You must not:
(a) tamper with the entry process;
(b) engage in any conduct that may jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the competition;
(c) act in a disruptive, annoying, threatening, abusive or harassing manner;
(d) do anything that may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related entities or of the agencies or companies associated with this competition;
(e) breach any law; or
(f) behave in a way that is otherwise inappropriate.
10 Where a companion can take the prize with you, you are responsible for your companion and the Promoter may disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this competition by, you or any or your companion if they breach these conditions, whether or not legally bound by them.
11 If you (or your companion), in the opinion of the Promoter (and/or a medical professional, as relevant to the circumstances), are intoxicated, under the influence of alcohol or any other drug, behave aggressively or offensively, or behave in a manner which may diminish the good name or reputation of the Promoter or any of its related entities or the agencies or companies associated with this competition, is contrary to law or is otherwise inappropriate, the Promoter may cancel the prize or restrict you (and your companion/s) from participating in any elements of the prize, at its discretion.
12 The Promoter is not liable for entries, prize claims or correspondence that are misplaced, misdirected, delayed, lost, incomplete, illegible or incorrectly submitted.
13 If any dispute arises between you and the Promoter concerning the conduct of this competition or claiming a prize, the Promoter will take reasonable steps to consider your point of view, taking into account any facts or evidence you put forward, and to respond to it fairly within a reasonable time. In all other respects, the Promoter’s decision in connection with all aspects of this competition is final.
14 Prizes cannot be transferred or exchanged nor redeemed for cash. Without limiting any other term of these Terms and Conditions, all prizes (and elements of prizes) must be taken as and when specified, or will be forfeited with no replacement. The prize values are correct as at the date of preparing these Terms and Conditions and include any applicable GST. The Promoter is not responsible for any change in prize value. You agree that if a prize (or element of a prize) is unavailable for any reason the Promoter may provide another item of equal or higher value, subject to any necessary approval by the state/territory gaming authorities.
15 By entering, you request that your full address not be published.
16 Printing and other quality control errors outside the Promoter’s control will not invalidate an otherwise valid prize claim. Every instant win prize claim in excess of the advertised prize pool will be honoured, unless the claim is rejected due to fraud or ineligibility under these Terms and Conditions.
17 If this competition cannot run as planned for any reason beyond the Promoter’s control, for example due to software, hardware or communications issues, unauthorised intervention, tampering, fraud or technical failure, government directives, pandemic, public health orders and the like, the Promoter may end, change, suspend or cancel the competition or disqualify affected entries/entrants, subject to any necessary approval by the state/territory gaming authorities.
18 The Promoter is not responsible for any tax implications arising from you winning a prize. You should seek independent financial advice. If for GST purposes this competition results in any supply being made for non-monetary consideration, you must follow the Australian Taxation Office’s stated view that where the parties are at arm’s length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.

19 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions restricts, excludes or modifies any consumer rights under any statute including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
20 Subject to the previous paragraph, the Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with this competition are not liable (including in negligence) for any loss (including indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury (including allergies, skin conditions or other reactions, as relevant), illness or death suffered in connection with this competition or any prize, except for any liability which under statute cannot be excluded (in which case that liability is limited to the greatest extent allowed by law).
21 Without limiting the previous paragraph, the Promoter and the agencies and companies associated with this competition are not liable for any loss of, damage to or delay in delivery of prize/s, or for any damage that occurs to displayed prize/s (where relevant). Unless otherwise specified, prize/s will only be delivered to addresses in Australia.
22 This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any social media platform, including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. You provide your information to the Promoter and not to any social media platform. You completely release any relevant social media platforms from any and all liability.
