2022 Carlsberg Scandinavian Film Festival

Go North this winter with the 2022 Carlsberg Scandinavian Film Festival returning to Perth 20 July - 10 August, presenting the best New Nordic cinema at Palace Cinemas Raine Square, Luna Palace Leederville and Luna on SX. The Festival showcases films from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden.

Highlights include the Australian premiere of MAGRETE - QUEEN OF THE NORTH - a lavish historical drama set in 1402 about the legacy and dilemmas faced Denmark’s Queen; THE WOODCUTTER STORY - a dark Finnish comedy direct from Cannes Film Festival Critic’s Week; and NORDIC BY NATURE - a remarkable documentary filmed in the remote Faroe Islands about one of the world’s most remote restaurants.
