Greg Mallyon is an accomplished and highly collectable Australian artist with a gift for depicting the lyricism of landscape through topographical perspectives. With a Masters in Art (UNSW), his bold and distinctive paintings are inspired by aerial views of the land below including geographic features such as lakes, gorges, rivers, deserts along with the human imprint of cities, buildings, industrial sites and roads.
Greg has held over 38 solo exhibitions throughout Australian capital cities and also in Europe, S.E. Asia and the U.S.A. He has participated in over 70 group exhibitions in cities including Barcelona, Venice and Taipei and locally at Melbourne University, The National Gallery of Victoria and Next Wave Festival, Melbourne. Greg has been represented in 10 international art fairs in Hong Kong, Singapore, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.
Media publicity about Greg's career has included over 80 magazine, newspaper, radio and television interviews and in-flight videos for QANTAS and the former ANSETT airlines. Greg's previous homes and renovation projects have also been the subject of media interest with feature stories in lifestyle magazines such as Vogue Living, Home Beautiful, and House and Garden amongst others.
