Great Wrap is the only Australian Made compostable cling wrap, founded by Jordy and Julia Kay. Julia is an architect and Jordy a former winemaker. They were disgusted by the amount waste caused by their industries so they decided to do something about it. They developed their product for two years before launching the world's first certified compostable pallet wrap in March 2020.
Now they manufacture home compostable cling wrap, for home and industrial use at their solar powered factory on the Mornington Peninsula. The majority of what goes into making Great Wrap is made from food waste. Great Wrap is certified home compostable, meaning it will break down in home compost in under 180 days - faster than an orange peel!
