Are you a fan of the Minions? If you like those crazy yellow critters from Despicable Me and their own series of movies, then why not make your own film about the Minions? Code Camp is a school holiday workshop for kids aged 5-13 who love technology. It offers fun activities to teach kids how to design, code and create. Code Camp has a fantastic range of camps for aspiring YouTubers, animators, gaming coders, DJs and drone pilots.
For instance, the Minions camp for kids aged 5-7 is a two-day camp during the school holidays that will see you create Minions out of clay, design your own film set and create a stop-motion animation film. There are plenty of other camps, being held at more than 100 locations during the school holidays.
To celebrate Code Camp for the September school holidays, Funday has two Code Camps to give away.
Now this could be for the Minions camp or one of the others – it is your choice. But first you will need to go on to
www.codecamp.com.au to check there are camps being held near you, which one you would like, if it is age-appropriate and if you need any equipment.
To enter, colour in the picture and then ask your parent or carer to take a photograph and email it to
funday@sundaytelegraph.com.au. Please put Code Camp in the subject line and fill in the coupon so we can contact you if you are a winner. It also helps to put your details at the top of the email as sometimes Harry the dog finds it hard to read handwriting. Entries must be in by Thursday so the winners can be published on the Health Hacker page in next week’s Sunday Telegraph. Harry the dog and the Funday team will pick only the best two entries to get Code Camps, so get creative.
