Terms and Conditions of Entry
General
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of the Terms and Conditions of Entry.
2. Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
3. To the extent of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any other
reference to this competition,these Terms and Conditions prevail.
Who can enter
4. Subject to the clauses below, entry is open to all residents of Australia who have fulfilled the
requirements set out below ('Eligible Entrants').
5. Employees, and their immediate families, of the Promoter, associated agencies and
companies, contractors or individuals are not eligible to enter this competition. Immediate
family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse,de facto spouse, child or stepchild
(whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent,
uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
6. All entrants must be over the age of 18, as of the date of entry.
7. The Promoter is Tackle World Co-operative Ltd (27 126 838 677) (the 'Promoter’) of Units
2-4, 5 Link Crescent, Coolum Beach, 4573
How to enter
8. To enter Eligible Entrants must enter during the Promotional Period (defined below):
9. Tell us ‘How You Live the Tackle World Life’ (in 25 words or less). Everyone’s fishing
experience is personal. Each contestant’s LIVE THE TACKLE WORLD LIFETM will be unique
and different.
10. Entrants are required to fill in the contact form details on the landing page of the
competition. Incomprehensible, illegible, and incomplete entries will not be considered a
valid entry.

Number of Entries Permitted and Identification
11. Only one entry is permitted per Eligible Entrant.
12. The Promoter reserves the right to request whatever documentation it deems necessary to
confirm the winner’s identification.
13. The winner must provide any requested documentation to the Promoter upon request.
14. The Promoter may conduct a redraw if the first drawn entrant is unable to satisfy this
clause.
Open, Close, Draw and Publish dates
15. The competition commences on 14/09/2022 at 12:01 AM and closes on 14/12/2022 at
Midnight. ('Promotional Period').
16. All times noted in these Terms and Conditions are local AEST times, based on the location of
the Promoter. If any draw date falls on a public holiday, as defined in the state of the
Promoter, that draw will be conducted on the next business day.
17. Entries must be received by the Promoter before the competition close date and time.
18. Entries will be processed and assessed throughout the duration of the promotion. The
winning entry will be decided and announced on 15/12/2022 at 05:00 PM AEST
19. The winner will be notified by email within two business days of the draw. Their name will
also be published on 16/12/2022 at http://www.tackleworld.com.au/tackle-worldpromotions.html for 28 days. The winner’s name and entry “how they Live The Tackle
World Life” will be announced on Tackle World’s social media platforms.
20. The winning voucher will be forwarded to the winner via registered post and funds
deposited into a nominated bank account.
21. The winner is required to contact Reality Fishing Charters by 15 January 2023 COB. The
winner will provide all personal details including the winning voucher number. If the winner
is unable to take the trip it can be transferred. The trip must be taken on the designated
dates: Big Ca Reality charter leaves Sunday 26/03/23 after 4.00 pm and returns around 5.00
am on 02/04/23. The winner is responsible for booking all travel and additional
accommodation if required. If the winner cannot be contacted within 28 days of the draw
the Promoter may conduct such further assessment.
Prize on offer
22. The total prize is valued at $8,100 (Inclusive), as at 12/09/2022
23. The prize on offer is $7100 retail value, 2 pax onboard Big Cat Reality for 7 days, plus a
further $1000 towards accommodation and airfares. All meals are provided throughout the
trip and more information/inclusions can be found at - https://www.bigcatreality.com/

Other Conditions
24. Any entrant found to have used a third party (including an online competition entry site) to
enter on their behalf will have all entries invalidated and any claim they have to any prize
will be invalidated. The same applies to any entrant found to be entering incorrect contact
details, including incorrect email contact details, will have all entries invalidated and any
claim to any prize will be invalidated. The Promoter has sole discretion to determine if this
clause has been breached by any entrant. The Promoter reserves the right to request
whatever documentation it deems necessary to confirm if the entrant has breached this
clause. An entrant must provide any requested documentation to the Promoter upon
request. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who provides false
information or who seeks to gain an unfair advantage or to manipulate this competition.
25. Any entrant found to be entering incorrect contact details, including incorrect email contact
details, will have all entries invalidated and any claim to any prize will be invalidated. If such
an entrant is awarded a prize and then found to have breached this clause, the entrant must
immediately return any prize awarded. The Promoter has sole discretion to determine if
this clause has been breached by any entrant. The Promoter reserves the right to request
whatever documentation it deems necessary to confirm if the entrant has breached this
clause. An entrant must provide any requested documentation to the Promoter upon
request.
26. If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to
substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State and Territory
legislation. Cash will not be awarded as a substitute. It is a condition of accepting the prize
that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the prize s
requirements. Each prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a
winner is unableto use the prize as stated.
27. The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to sign a winner's deed of release (and
indemnification) or any other relevant forms or agreements that the Promoter deems
necessary, to provide proof of identity, proof of age, proof of residency at the nominated
prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity (including phone bill) to claim a prize.
This is at the discretion of the Promoter. If a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the
winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.
28. The Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw if an entrant, claiming to be a
winner, is unable to satisfy these Terms and Conditions or has breached these Terms and
Conditions.
29. The Promoter's decision about any aspect of the competition is subject to State and
Territory legislation but also final and binding on each person who enters. No
correspondence will be entered into. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or
misdirected entries. Prizes are subject to availability, not transferable or exchangeable
except for cash prizes, and cannot be taken as cash.

30. By submitting an entry into this competition entrants’ consent to receive promotional and
other marketing messages from the Promoter (including messages sent electronically for an
unlimited period). Entrants can opt-out at any time by following the instructions in each
message sent by the Promoter.
The Promoter and its related entities collect entrants' personal information for the purpose
of conducting and promoting this competition (including but not limited to determining and
notifying winners). The Promoter may also disclose personal information collected to
Australian regulatory authorities, such as the regulators of trade promotions. The Promoter
will otherwise handle your personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy
available at www.tackleworld.com.au. You may request access or to update your personal
information or lodge a complaint by writing to The Privacy Officer, Tackle World Column
Beach, 4573.
Copyright, Statutory guarantees, Waiver & Liability
31. All entries and any copyright subsisting in the entries become and remain the property of
the Promoter who may publish or cause to be published any of the entries received.
32. In participating in the prizes, the winners agree to participate and co-operate as required in
all editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being
interviewed and photographed. The winners (and their companions) agree to grant the
Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive license to use such footage and photographs in all
media worldwide, including online social networking sites, and the winners (and their
companions) will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
33. Prize-winners are advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings, and they
should seek independent financial advice before acceptance of that prize.
34. The Promoter (subject to State and Territory legislation) reserves the right to amend,
cancel or suspend this competition if an event beyond the control of the Promoter
corrupts or affects the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this
competition. The Promoter will disqualify any individual who has tampered withthe entry
process or any other aspect of this competition. Computer-generated entries and the use
of "scripting" is not permitted and will not be accepted.
35. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant's responsibility
and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
36. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limit, exclude or modify or purports to limit,
exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition
and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other impliedwarranties under the ASIC Act or
similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia ('Non- Excludable
Guarantees').
37. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable
Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not
responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or
any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or
consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment
malfunction (whether ornot under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised
access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prizeclaim that is late, lost, altered,
damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any

reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to
that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or
Entrant; or (f) use of a prize The Promoter (including its' officers, employees and agents)
excludes all liability for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or
consequential loss or loss of profits or opportunity), expense, damage, personal injury or
death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence)
in connection with this competition including taking or using a prize, except for any liability
which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum
allowable by law), including the Non-Excludable guarantees. Any change in the value of the
prize occurring between the publishing date and the date the prize is claimed is not the
responsibility of the Promoter.
Reality Fishing Charters- 7-Day Charter inclusions
Tackle
38. The winner and companion are required to bring along all their own fishing gear including
tackle. Reality Fishing Charters do offer a small range of tackle onboard however they
always encourage you to speak with their local tackle store and grab the best advice and
gear.
Fish
39. Reality Fishing Charters operates within the regulations of the Department of Primary
Industry Qld. These regulations govern fish sizes, species, bag limits and reef closures that
apply to their guests. The winner and companion should make themselves familiar with
these regulations. The crew will clean and fillet and vacuum seal your catch, before being
frozen to ensure freshness. In the spirit of fairness at the end of the trip, the whole catch is
evenly divided between all active fishers. Everyone should get a nice pack of fish to take
home.
Meal & Refreshments
40. Reality Fishing Charters” offers professionally presented meals prepared on board by their
qualified chefs for enjoyment throughout the trip. Meals include hot breakfasts, hot & cold
lunches and of course the famous Big Cat Seafood Night. Guests will also enjoy healthy fruit
platters and other exhilarating taste bud sensations for afternoon teas. For any dietary
requirements, please advise Reality Fishing Charters at the time of booking as soon as
possible after being notified of winning the prize. Big Cat Reality is a fully licensed vessel.
They have an electronic POS system that caters for individual consumption and can provide
a printout of the drinks consumed at the end of your trip. Free Chilled water is available
Accommodation
41. “Big Cat Reality” is set up with large, comfortable bunk-style accommodation which is fully
air-conditioned and spacious to minimize sea sickness. All guests are allocated a separate
bunk.
42. All bed linen and a bath towel are provided for the onboard freshwater showers.
43. Please bring a towel for swimming purposes.
