Maleny Dairies is the promoter of this competition and hereafter in the terms and conditions will be referred to as the ‘Promoter’.
By entering this competition, you confirm that you have read and understood these terms and conditions and agree to them. The major prize is supplied by Maleny Dairies.
1. The major prize consists of a Maleny Weekend Experience for up to two guests allocated to one major prize winner.
a. The prize consists of:
i. Two nights accommodation at Spicers Tamarind Retreat including a breakfast each morning – valued at $2000.
ii. 5 course Degustation Dinner for 2 at The Tamarind, Spicers Tamarind Retreat – valued at $240.00 per couple
iii. Bespoke tour of Maleny Dairies presented by the CEO.
iv. A selection of Maleny Dairies products valued at $100.00.
b. The prize value is estimated at $2390.00.
The prize does not include:
i. Travel costs to and from Maleny from the winners’ place of residence
ii. Travel costs during the weekend
iii. Incidental expenses not associated to the activities included within the prize iv. Travel or personal insurance
2. The prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and are not redeemable for cash or in any other way.
3. Delivery of the price will be in consultation with the winners and travel dates will be agreed between the Promoter and the winners. The prize must be taken before a specified date which will be outlined by the promoter upon acceptance.
4. To enter the competition, simply complete the online entry form.
5. The winner of the major prize will be notified by email, and will confirm acceptance of the prize within 5 business days. If the winner fails to collect the prize within the said 5 days, the Promotor reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and randomly select a new winner.
6. Entry to the competition is free.
7. Entry to the competition is open to persons over the age of 18 years. Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
8. The competition will close at 5:00pm (Australian Eastern Standard Time) on Friday, 27th January, 2023.
9. The winning entry will be drawn at random at 12.00 noon on Monday, January 30, 2023. The draw will be randomly selected from all completed entries and will be witnessed by a representative of the Promoter. The winner will be notified via email.
10. The Promoter of this competition reserves the right to seek verification of the winner’s age and identity and other relevant information. The Promoter’s decision is final and correspondence will not be entered into.
11. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter excludes all liability (including negligence), for any loss or damage of any nature arising out of the Promotion, including, without limitation, any variation in the value of the prize, any tax liability incurred by an entrant and any use of the prize.
12. The competition will be governed by the law of Queensland.
13. The Promoter reserves the right to modify or change the competition terms without notice.
14. By entering the competition you are consenting to the Promoter contacting you at a later date for marketing and promotion purposes. The winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any publicity material in association with the promotion of the competition.
15. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
16. The results of the competition will be published on Facebook. By entering and participating, entrant agrees to hold harmless, defend and indemnify Facebook from and against any and all claims, demands, liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), losses, costs or expenses, with respect to or arising out of or related to your participation in the competition, or your participation in any prize related activities, acceptance of a prize and/or use or misuse of a prize (including, without limitation, any property loss, damage, personal injury or death caused to any person(s).
